The Perm region and Roscongress Foundation signed an agreement on the margins of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The parties have agreed to cooperate in promoting trade and economic ties between the Perm region and foreign investors.
Acting Perm region Governor Maxim Reshetnikov and Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev signed the agreement, which concerns cooperation in promoting the region’s products and services on the European market, implementing advanced technology in the region’s manufacturing, raising direct foreign investment into the Perm region’s economy and creating an environment for investment growth, as well as for support and development of the Perm region’s small and medium-sized businesses.
The agreement will help provide for more active involvement by the Perm region’s business community in Roscongress Foundation key events, in addition to holding joint information and exhibition events and establishing a business hall in the Perm region for exchanging information.
Maxim Reshetnikov noted that cooperation with Roscongress Foundation would be yet another step towards improving the Perm region’s investment appeal.
Day three of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum also saw the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Novgorod region. Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev and Acting Novgorod region Governor Andrey Nikitin took part in the ceremony.
Roscongress Foundation also signed a cooperation agreement with the Business Sweden. Roscongress Foundation CEO Alexander Stuglev and Business Sweden Trade Commissioner Russia Andreas Giallourakis signed the agreement. The parties agreed to cooperate in building effective communications between the expert communities and business and political circles in the Russian Federation and the Kingdom of Sweden.
