What is the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF)?
The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is a unique international event in the world of economics and business, held annually with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. In 2016 the Forum welcomed more than 12,000 participants, among them political and business leaders, leading scientists, public figures and members of the media from all over the world, to discuss the most pressing issues facing Russia and the global community.

Where do Forum events take place?
The main events of the 21st St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will take place on June 1–3, 2017 at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre.

Travel time between ExpoForum and the historic centre of St. Petersburg is approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on traffic. Pulkovo International Airport and several of the city’s major roads, including the St. Petersburg Ring Road, the Moscow–St. Petersburg Highway, the North-Western High Speed Diameter, Pulkovskoye Shosse, and Peterburgskoye Shosse are located within easy reach.
