Make in India is a national mission launched by Prime Minster Shri Narendra Modi in September 2014 to transform India into a global manufacturing hub. The Make in India Lounge at SPIEF 2017 will be the central meeting place for the Indian participants with their international counterparts. Heads of state, ministers, media leaders, captains of industry, academia and celebrity achievers from all over the world will convene at some point in time at this lounge.

The Make in India Lounge is centrally located at pavilion G.

The National Pavilion of Serbia plans to present positive examples of investments by Russian companies in the Serbian economy, the implementation of projects in energy, construction, infrastructure, agriculture, the food industry, telecommunications, tourism, and services, and also hold an open dialogue with the leading representatives of Serbian business circles.

A state economic delegation led by acting Serbian Prime Minister Ivica Dačić, which will include representatives of line ministries, the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Serbian Development Agency, will visit the National Pavilion and hold a number of oficial meetings that primarily aim to improve the business environment and promote the activities of leading Serbian companies in cooperation with the Russian Federation.

The National Pavilion of Serbia is located in the central walkway of pavilion G.

The Roscongress Lounge is a special business networking area by the St. Petersburg Economic Forum operator, the Roscongress Foundation.

The Roscongress Foundation (previously the SPIEF Foundation) has been regularly holding business events in Russia and abroad since 1997 while creating favourable conditions for economic cooperation between the business and political elites of Russia and other countries.

Visitors to this area can learn about all the opportunities available for participants in the events and projects carried out by the Roscongress Foundation: the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the International Financial Congress, the Eastern Economic Forum, the World Festival of Youth and Students, the Russian Investment Forum, the International Arctic Forum, and others. Visitors who are interested may complete applications to take part in these events or to organize congress events at any level.

Renting meeting spaces in the Roscongress Lounge

For the convenience and comfort of its guests, the Lounge is equipped with meeting spaces which can be booked in advance, a coffee break area and broadcasts of key events from the SPIEF 2017.

Meeting spaces in the Roscongress Lounge are available for rent for 20–30 minutes. If you wish to rent meeting spaces, please go to the Roscongress Lounge administrator’s stand.

This service is provided free of charge, subject to availability when booking.


The Far East Territory networking area at the SPIEF venue has been organized with the support of the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East.

Forum participants will be able to learn about the work of the ministry and of the development institutions of the Russian Far East; the initial successes of projects which have been implemented by residents of Advanced Special Economic Zones and Vladivostok Free Port, as well as the ‘Far Eastern hectare’ programme; and also other initiatives to improve the quality of life and business climate in the Far East.

Visitors will be provided materials on the nature and geography of the Far East, and given the opportunity to try a variety of Far Eastern food and produce from this unique region. The Far East Territory networking area is located in the Passage of the Congress Centre.
