Roscongress Foundation and TradeMalta sign partnership agreement

On November 15, 2016, as part of a visit by Prime Minister of Malta Joseph Muscat to Russia, a partnership agreement signing ceremony took place between the Roscongress Foundation and TradeMalta, with Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev in attendance.

The two parties have agreed to cooperate in developing effective communication between expert and business communities representing Russia and Malta.

Developing joint communication platforms at the international level to encourage bilateral partnership in economics and social provision, strengthening existing partnerships that benefit the business communities of both countries, and taking efforts to locate new partnerships were noted as key areas of cooperation between the countries.

According to CEO of the Roscongress Foundation Alexander Stuglev, the agreement is intended, first and foremost, to promote the broadening and strengthening of business relations between the Russian Federation and Malta.

“In particular, we expect that the achievements reached will allow Maltese companies to participate more actively in our organization’s events, including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the Eastern Economic Forum and the Sochi International Investment Forum. Furthermore, the agreement opens up additional opportunities to exchange best practices in business, establish new business contacts, and develop long-term partnerships between the business communities of our countries,” Stuglev announced.
