Besides unexpected turns of the plot, the choreographer introduces new names and characters to the audience. Richness and effeminacy of Roman nobility is highlighted by unique decorations designed by Viacheslav Okunev.Several hundred different costumes have been created specially for this ballet, and there is one further unique feature of this production, with the soloists having to contend with serious opponents in the form of real tigresses.
