Conducted hundreds of interviews with Russian and foreign politicians, regional leaders, economists, musicians. Moderated panels on various economic and political forums. Between 2012 and 2012 worked as deputy chief of staff and press secretary for the Minister of Emergency Situations and designed and implemented the media strategy for the ministry and its leaders. Holds two degrees: one in economics from GUU, one in political science from RAHNiGS.

Leonid Grigoriev, born in 1947, is the author of more than 300 published articles, a participant in and supervisor of many R&D projects. Work experience: 1991–1992: Deputy Minister of Economics and Finance of the Russian Federation; 1992–1997: Russian Directorate of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, Advisor; 1997–2001: Bureau of Economic Analysis Foundation, Director; 2002: Institute for Energy and Finance Foundation, President; Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Advisor; 2006–2014: Expert Institute, Chairman; Russian office of the WWF, Chairman (from 2014: member of the Supervisory Board). Leonid Grigoriev has been a member of the Council for Foreign and Defence Policy. In 2013, he joined the Analytical Centre for the Government of the Russian Federation as a Chief Advisor. Since June 2013, he has been a full professor at the Higher School of Economics and, since September 2014, has chaired the Global Economics Department of the HSE.

Born on 4 October 1964 in Moscow. 1986: graduated from Moscow Institute of Finance as an economist. 1986: started working as an economist in the Office of financing Social Security of the USSR Ministry of Finance.1987: economist for the Office of Financing Health and Welfare of the USSR Ministry of Finance.1988: worked as senior economist in Division of funding for Social Development the Ministry of Finance. 1988 – 1989: served in the Soviet Army.1989: held various posts in the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.1994: appointed Deputy Head of the General Office of the Federal Treasury, Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation.July 1999 - July 2008: worked for the Government of the Russian Federation.17 July 2008: appointed Chairman of the Management Board of the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation. Awarded the Order of Honour with the title of “Honoured economist of the RF”. Married with a daughter and a son.

Jim has over 32 years of experience in the health care/health insurance industry, ranging from full life-cycle systems development through capacity planning, implementation, maintenance, and operations. He has extensive experience managing the design, development, and installation of the industry’s leading Managed Health Care packages. Jim’s experience includes large scale business transformation for all aspects of health plan organizations including claim adjudication, membership, billing, ID cards, coordination of benefits, provider, capitation, dental, explanation of benefits, EDI, provider payments, risk pools, new product definition, benefit plans, accounts payable, general ledger, eligibility, enrollment, claims inquiry, retail sales, and pharmacy. Jim’s professional background includes health plan operations prior to entering the consulting profession. For over a decade, he held various management positions with health plans. Jim has lead Information Technology, Claims, Membership, Billing, Call Center, Enrollment, Provider Relations, Vender Management, Mail Room Operations and managed a major product line for a leading vendor of health plan software. Jim earned a BS in Computer Science and Business Administration from Mount Union College.

Yaroslav Lissovolik joined the Eurasian Development Bank as its Chief Economist in 2015. In 2001-2004 he worked in the International Monetary Fund, where he was Advisor to the Executive Director for the Russian Federation in Washington. In 2004 Yaroslav Lissovolik joined Deutsche Bank as Chief Economist; in 2009 he became Head of Company Research in Russia and in 2011- a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank in Russia. Yaroslav Lissovolik earned a BA in Economics from Harvard University; an MA in International Economic Relations from Moscow State Institute of International Relations; an MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics, holds a PhD in Economics and is a professor at the department of World Economy at the Diplomatic Academy. Yaroslav Lissovolik is a member of the Advisory Council of the Central Bank of Russia, a member of the Council on foreign and defense policy and a member of the Bretton Woods Committee. In 2012 Yaroslav Lissovolik became a member of the Expert Council of the Russian government as well as the Working group on macroeconomic policy of the Presidential Economic Council. He has published books on Russia's entry to the WTO and on Russia's integration into the world economy, as well as numerous articles and papers on economic and policy issues.

Dr. Joseph Muscat was born on the 22nd January 1974. He graduated with Honours from the University of Malta in Public Policy and later as Master of European Studies. In 2007 he attained a Doctorate of Philosophy in Management Research from the University of Bristol. He successfully contested the first European Parliamentary elections in Malta in 2004. In 2006 he was the recipient of the Outstanding Young Person of the Year. In June 2008 he was elected as the Leader of the Partit Laburista. Dr Muscat took office as Prime Minister of Malta on the 11th March 2013. He is married to Michelle and they have twin daughters, Etoile Ella and Soleil Sophie.

Cyril Muller joined the World Bank’s Europe and Central Asia region as Vice President on 1 July 2015.Previously, from 2011 to 2015, he was Vice President for External and Corporate Relations. Prior to that, he was the Director for Banking and Debt Management in the World Bank Treasury, responsible for modernizing the financial products available to member countries and providing public debt management advisory services. From 2005 to 2010, he served as the World Bank’s Special Representative for Europe, based in Paris. His main responsibilities were managing the dialogue with European governments and institutions. Muller has held a range of positions across the World Bank since 1991, with an external break in service from 2000-2005. He holds economics degrees from Neuchatel University in Switzerland and New York University.

Mark Farha obtained his PhD from Harvard University in 2007 where he also served as a Head Teaching Fellow with distinction. From 2008-2015, he served as Assistant Professor of Government at the School of Foreign Service in Doha, Qatar. He is a fellow of the University of Bielefeld and was a Senior Associate Member at St. Anthony’s College, Oxford in 2013. In 2015, he was appointed as an Assistant Professor of Politics at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies where he teaches courses in Arabic on regional foreign policy, Political Economy of the Middle East and Arab Political Thought. His scholarly publications have focused on the origins of secularism and sectarianism in the Middle East and Lebanon in particular. He has given lectures in English, Arabic and German at Universities such as Harvard, Columbia and UCLA, as well as Tuebingen, Cambridge, Zurich, Melbourne, Addis Abada, Singapore and Tokyo.

Mr. Andreas Schaal is Head of the Sherpa Office and the Global Governance Unit at the OECD. In this capacity, he works with the OECD Chief of Staff and Sherpa to advance OECD contributions to key pillars of the global governance architecture, such as the G20, G7, APEC and the Deauville Partnership supporting Transition Countries in the MENA Region. He also represents the organisation as a Sous-Sherpa in the respective meetings. He is working closely with China and other major emerging economies, also in view of China's upcoming G20 Presidency 2016. Since joining the OECD in 2008 he has also held positions as a Senior Policy Analyst in the Investment Division of the Directorate for Financial Markets and Enterprise Affairs, and as Counsellor in the Office of the Secretary General. Prior to joining the OECD, Mr. Schaal held various positions during his work for the German Federal Government, including Deputy Director G8 Summit/German Sherpa Office, Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology, Economic Counsellor, German Permanent Delegation to the OECD, Paris, Vice Chair (elected 2005-2006) of OECD’s Economic and Development Review Committee (EDRC) and Policy advisor and chief of staff to Parliamentary Secretary of State Siegmar Mosdorf, MP, Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Mr. Schaal, a German national, holds a Masters in Public Policy and Public Management from the University of Konstanz, Germany.
