Alan Thompson was appointed Director of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce in Russia in 2012. Born in Edinburgh, United Kingdom Alan Thompson graduated as a specialist in Slavonic studies from Leeds University and as lawyer of EU Commercial law from Leicester University. In 1999 he moved to Russia pusuing opportunities as a consultant in the international department of a consulting company, sales and marketing in an insurance company, administrative support in an agricultural project in the Penza region. Alan Thompson worked as the Deputy Director of the British Yellow Pages project from 2004. Alan moved on to set up the marketing function in JohnsonDiversey in 2006 focusing on all aspects of B2B marketing. He went on to head up the Hotel service business for Eastern Europe within Diversey. In his current role as Director of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce Alan Thompson in representing the interests of member companies has a particular focus on startup and SME support, export, regional development, social initiatives, business projects, bilateral trade, improvement of the business climate. Alan Thompson is a proactive member of the International Council of Cooperation and Investment (ICCI) under the auspices of the RSPP, Mr Alexander Shokhin, a member of the Expert Council of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, a member of the Council of National Representatives of the Association of European Businesses. Alan Thompson is a participant of the Joint Liason Group Russia-UK, SPIEF, SPILF, Cybersecurity (RAEC), DataProtectionForum (Moscow).

Clemens Blum has been with Schneider Electric since 2000, and, since July 2010, he has been Executive Vice President for Industry and Member of the Management Board of Schneider Electric. Mr. Blum began his career in 1982 and held different positions on sales teams in a number of companies. In 1992, he became Sales Director at SIG Positec Automation, which is part of the Swiss Industrial Group (SIG), and, in 1997, was appointed CEO at SIG Positec Automation. In 2000, Schneider Electric acquired the assets of SIG Positec (SIG Positec Automation and SIG Positec Berger Lahr) from the Swiss Industrial Group. Mr. Blum then became Managing Director of the newly formed Berger Lahr Group division and, in 2003, was appointed CEO of Schneider Electric Motion Group. From 2005, Blum was in charge of the German and Swiss markets in the capacity of Vice President of the European division. In October 2009, he was appointed Senior Vice-President Global Sales Industry Business. Clemens Blum graduated from Furtwangen University (Germany) as an Electronics Engineer and from Pforzheim University (Germany) in Business Administration.

Sergey Kravchenko holds post of president of Boeing Russia/CIS since 2002, he is responsible for leading all Boeing business activities in Russia and the CIS. Kravchenko joined The Boeing Company in 1992. He directly participated in Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner program design, held leading positions in engineering departments in Seattle responsible for production and relations with suppliers and partners. In Russia, he led Boeing projects on participation in ISS, establishment of two Boeing joint ventures with Rostec /VSMPO, Boeing Design Center in Moscow, Boeing Flight Training Center in Skolkovo. Before Kravchenko joined Boeing in 1992, he worked as a professor and as the lead scientist of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also taught in Moscow and worked as a research consultant in Europe, the United States and Asia. Sergey Kravchenko is one of the leading specialists in Russia on modern management of large international projects and companies. Kravchenko is a professor and holds a doctorate degree of engineering science, earned in 1990. He holds over 20 patents in various areas of engineering and has published more than 50 research papers.

Seattle Chamber board chairman Steve Crown is Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Regulatory Affairs in Microsoft’s Corporate, External and Legal Affairs Department. Before joining Microsoft in 1997 Steve practiced law with a national law firm, served as the International Business Vice President for a company that built out wireless telephone networks in Russia, and established a commercial law practice with special focus on technology transfers and international trade and investment. In addition to his work with the Chamber, Steve serves as president of the Association of American Rhodes Scholars and represents Microsoft Corporation on the board of directors of the Global Network Initiative, an international multi-stakeholder organization committed to protecting and advancing freedom of expression and end user privacy on the internet. Alexei Ponomarenko Chairman of the Russian Statistical Association Member of the International Statistics Institute (Netherlands) Between 1991 and 1998 worked in the state statistics of Russia, focusing on implementation of international statistic standards into national practice, NGP calculation and other macroeconomic indices. Between 1998 and 2000 was an adjunct professor at the Hitotsubashi university in Tokio. Since 2000 acts a professor of the Department of Statistics and Data Analysis of the Higher School of Economics in Moscow and director of the International Institute of Statistical Education. As an IMF and WB expert took part in various projects in Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kuwait, Moldova, Kirgizia, Tajikistan, Turkmenia. Co-author of statistic development master-plans in Russia, Kazakhstan and Armenia. Anna Serebryanikova was appointed Chief Operating Officer at MegaFon in October 2016. Anna joined the MegaFon team in 2006 as advisor to the CEO for International Legal Affairs, bringing to the company many years of experience in the field of international legal activity in multinational companies and federal and international organizations and agencies. In 2008, she took charge of the company’s legal function, providing full legal support for PJSC MegaFon. Ms. Serebryanikova has unique experience in carrying out strategically significant corporate projects, including those in the field of M&A, as well as in the integration of large-scale assets, tracking complex structured transactions in domestic and international capital markets, conducting public offering of shares and depositary receipts in Russia and abroad, and winning precedential arbitration cases. The legal team, led by Ms. Serebryanikova, repeatedly became an industry leader according to editions of Legal Insight. In January 2009, Ms. Serebryanikova became a member of the governing board of PJSC MegaFon.
