Innovation and science are key drivers in Russia’s future development and herald a new era of technological advances and stronger economic competitiveness. Knowledge-driven approaches are a priority for delivering productivity and modernizing productive means, laying the foundations for the new economy. These trends have unveiled a need for significant changes in the education system. Is the education system keeping up with the ongoing acceleration of technology and scientific change?
