The Priory Palace, a unique earthen building created in 1798–1799 by architect Nikolai Lvov for the Knights of St. John of Jerusalem (Order of Malta), is unique in its architectural design and technical implementation. The exposition of the Priory Palace tells about the Order of Malta and its connection with the Russian Empire at the time of Emperor Paul I.
