Leningradsky Patefon is an ensemble from St. Petersburg, performing the best songs of the Soviet variety genre, which are so popular with audiences across generations.

The musicians perform popular soundtracks and pop hits of the last century in their own arrangements. The repertoire includes Soviet schlagers and songs from celebrated old films like ‘The Girls (Devchata)’, ‘Office Romance’, ‘Three Poplars on Plyushchikha’, ‘The Irony of Fate’ and many others. At the ensemble's concerts one can also hear original compositions.

The soloists of Leningradsky Patefon are brilliant jazz singers from Moscow: Anastasia Lyutova and Sergey Arkhipov. The group also invites other outstanding vocalists to take part in special programmes: in May 2023, Dmitry Noskov, the ‘Frank Sinatra of the Russian jazz scene’, took part in a concert dedicated to the 320th anniversary of St Petersburg.

In 2020, the ensemble took part in several major online projects: On 9 May 2020, a cultural reconstruction project entitled "RioRita – the Joy of Victory" was held at the studio of the St. Petersburg’s city channel "Gorod +". On 27 May 2020 Leningradsky Patephon formed the basis of the music programme of the Stay Jazzy Day online music marathon. On 25 July 2020 in Volkhov, a reconstruction of a concert in the city park in 1945 took place where Leningradsky Patefon performed an authentic musical programme.

The ensemble is a regular participant of the Summer Music Park festival in the Botanical Garden in St. Petersburg. In February 2024, the ensemble presented a programme with a symphony orchestra at the State Capella in St. Petersburg.
