07 Jun , 10:00–19:30
Museum
5, Pereulok Lodygina

The museum is home to monuments of world culture dating back to the first centuries of Christianity. Its exponents include icons, pilgrimage relics, parts of the relics of Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker, Saint Spyridon of Trimythous, and Saint Constantine the Great, works of painters, as well as artefacts of Old Believer art centres.

The secular part of the collection features original paintings by Quentin Matsys, Jacob Adriaensz Backer, Peter Paul Rubens, and Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn.

The Museum of Christian Culture is a unique multimedia complex. Its creators set the goal of expanding the classical perception of the exposition that many people know so well. Visitors are immersed in a special atmosphere with musical accompaniment, lighting design, multimedia canvases, touch tables, and modern technologies.
