07 Jun , 10:15–11:15
Healthy Life Area
Congress Centre, zone E, Healthy Life Area

Technological sovereignty is a key aspect of economic development and national security. Skilled professionals capable of creating and introducing advanced technologies in biomedicine are needed to ensure the necessary indicators are achieved. How can we ensure the training of such specialists? Education in science, leadership, and entrepreneurship should be an integral part of the university curriculum. Not only will this help develop a culture of scientific thinking and ambition among future specialists, it will also equip young scientists with the skills needed to implement their own projects and ideas. In addition, it is becoming increasingly obvious that universities, philanthropists, development institutions, venture capital funds, and business communities need to work together. Such synergy helps to combine efforts to prepare students and young scientists for the real challenges of a market economy, supports the development of start-ups and companies, and contributes to the creation of an innovative ecosystem. What practices already exist for developing student technology entrepreneurship and how are they evolving? What entrepreneurial expertise and skills should students and young scientists have? How should a modern system of creativity work in the technological world to ensure the most efficient use of available resources to create new technologies?
