General Director, Media Group "Rossiya Segodnya"

Russian journalist, began his career at Novosti Press Agency (APN) in 1975. In 1978 he moved to foreign language news production at Gosteleradio (USSR State Committee for Television & Radio Broadcasting).
He was a commentator on the Vremya (Time) news program and ORT Channel anchor for the Chas Pik (Peak Hour) and Okno v Yevropu (Window to Europe) programs.
In 1992-1995, he ran the Ostankino TV regional office in Northern Europe.
In 2005, he was Vesti (News), Natsionalny Interes (National Interest) and Istorichesky Protsess (Historical Process) host for the Rossiya Channel.
From 2008 to 2012, he was Deputy Director General of the Russian State TV & Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK). Starting September 2012 and currently, he is producer and anchor of the Vesti Nedeli (News of the Week) program on Rossiya 1.
On December 9, 2013, President Vladimir Putin appointed Dmitry Kiselev Director General of the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
Kiselev has been awarded the Order of Friendship, the Order for Services to the Fatherland, 4th Class, and the Order of St.Sergius of Radonezh, 2nd Class.
