In the current challenging geopolitical landscape, India steadfastly maintains an independent political and economic stance. This sustains the current level of privileged strategic partnership between the two countries and creates opportunities for building investment, trade and economic cooperation with Russia at a qualitatively new level. The volume of trade between the countries continues to break records, largely due to increased Russian energy supplies to India. However, amidst this surge in Russian exports, both countries are facing the challenge of finding a new trade and economic balance that aligns with their mutual interests. Bilateral economic interaction requires the establishment of new ties and the search for new promising trade positions. Russian entrepreneurs are keenly interested in trends in the Indian market and are expanding their knowledge of the changing needs and opportunities of modern India. Similar trends towards Russian markets are gradually gaining ground in Indian business circles. In the medium term, will we see a shift from the commodity export model to non-resource exports? What are the real opportunities for liberalization of mutual trade, reduction of trade barriers, and restrictions in the absence of significant shifts in the negotiation process for a free trade agreement? Are the existing transport and logistics solutions sufficient to increase mutual trade volumes? How stable is the financial security of foreign trade transactions from external challenges? Is it possible to transfer trade with friendly states, particularly with India, to settlements in national currencies, including for supplies of oil and other commodities?

Born July 5th , 1963 in Kislovodsk.
In 1989 graduated with honors from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations with a specialization in international journalism and completed his postgraduate course at Moscow State University specializing in global economic issues.
In 1992, he was an intern at the New York Institute under the Investments and International Accounts Program and in 1993 joined a course for banking specialists at Fairfield University (USA).
From 1991 to 2003 Mr. Cheremin headed various banks.
In 2004, he was appointed CEO of Moscow Bank of Reconstruction and Development (MBRD).
From 2005 to 2009 he acted as the Chairman of the Board of MBRD, he also served as Senior Vice President and Head of External Relations of JSFC Sistema.
From 2009 to 2010 — Deputy Chairman of the Board of JSFC Sistema.
From 2009— Chairman of the Board of Business Council for Cooperation with India, member of the Russian-Indian Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation.
November 8th 2010, Mr.Cheremin was appointed Minister of the Moscow City Government, Head of the Moscow City Department for External Economic and International Relations.
In 2015 was appointed Deputy Chairman of the Russian-Indian Inter-Governmental Commission on Trade, Economic, Scientific, Technological and Cultural Cooperation.

Since 2015 Kirill Lipa has been the CEO of JSC Transmashholding, one of the world leaders in the development and production of rolling stock for mainline and urban rail transport.
Chairman of the Committee for Transport Machine Building to the Russian Engineering Union.
Chairman of the Expert Council for Transport Machine Building Development to the State Duma Committee on Industry and Trade.
Awarded with the Honorary Diploma of the President of the Russian Federation for achievements in creating advanced models of rolling stock for mainline and urban rail transport.

Born in 1972. Siroj Loikov graduated from the Tashkent State Economics University where he specialized in international economic relations; he also holds a business management bachelor`s degree from Nottingham Trent University (UK).
Between 1996 and 2005, he held various management positions in British American Tobacco – both at the company`s headquarters in London and its representative offices in Uzbekistan and Russia. Between 2005 and 2008, Mr. Loikov served as Human Resources Director at Leman Commodities S.A. (Ukraine); in 2008-2009 was responsible for human resources development at Metinvest Holding.
From 2009 to 2011, he worked as Human Resources Director at CJSC Russian Standard. In 2011, Siroj Loikov was appointed CJSC PhosAgro AG Human Resources Director and between 2013 and 2018 he was Human Resources Director
Member of the Management Board of PJSC PhosAgro since 2013.
From January 2018 to March 2020, Siroj Loikov held the position of Deputy CEO of PhosAgro. In March 2020, he was appointed First Deputy CEO of PhosAgro.

German Maslov

German Maslov has served as FESCO Vice-president for Liner and Logistics Division since September 2020.
Mr. Maslov has been working in FESCO Group for more than 20 years; he has worked his way up from being an assistant captain on the company’s ships and a head of department to a head of logistics clusters in FESCO representative companies in Australia and Hong-Kong. From 2015 to 2018 he was serving as the Chief Operating Officer of FIT, then he was appointed Chief Executive Officer of “FESCO Integrated Transport” LLC.
Mr. Maslov graduated from Admiral Nevelskoy Maritime State University with a degree in Engineering and Ship navigation, he also holds a Master of Business Administration degree in Logistics and Supply Chain Management from Higher School of Economics National Research University.
