Pak Erik leads McKinsey operations in the EEMA region. He focuses on strategy development and implementation for a variety of local companies, multinationals and governments. Advises government authorities on structural transformations in Telecommunications, High Tech, the banking sector and oil & gas industry. He also advises private companies on growth strategies, transformations from local to global and operational efficiency. He takes part in business forums as an expert in global strategies, Telecommunications and High Tech. Before stepping into the position of Managing Partner in EEMA, Pal Erik led McKinsey’s Eastern European offices for three years. He holds a Master of Science degree in industrial economics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

The Company’s businesses are located in Belgorod, Tambov, Voronezh, Samara, Sverlovsk regions and Primorsky Krai.Rusagro plans to build pig complexes, sugar and aquaculture production in Primorsk area. Rusagro exports to China sunflower and soya oils and meals, plans to export grains, soya and margarines.

Since January 2015, Ramon Laguarta is Chief Executive Officer, PepsiCo Europe with responsibility for leading our food and beverages businesses across Europe and our food business in Sub-Saharan Africa ($13.3 bn Net Revenue in 2014). He is also member of PepsiCo Executive Committee. Prior to this role, from November 2008, Ramon was President, PepsiCo Eastern Europe Region. Before that, from 2006 to 2008, he served as Commercial Vice President of Europe. From 2002 to 2006, he was General Manager for Iberia Snacks and Juices, and from 1999 to 2001 a General Manager for Greece Snacks and Marketing Vice President for Spain Snacks. Ramon joined PepsiCo in January 1996. Previous to PepsiCo, he worked for Chupa Chups, S.A. where he held a number of international roles in Europe and the U.S. Ramon holds an MBA from ESADE Business School in Spain and a Master’s in International Management (M&M) from Thunderbird School of Global Management in the U.S.

In February 2013, Kanayo F. Nwanze was appointed for a second four-year term as President of IFAD. A Nigerian national, he has a strong record as an advocate and leader of development issues, with over 35 years of experience across three continents, focusing on poverty reduction through agriculture, rural development and research. Under Nwanze’s guidance, IFAD has stepped up its advocacy efforts to ensure that agriculture is a central part of the international development agenda, and that governments recognize the concerns of smallholder farmers and other poor rural people. IFAD has also increased its field presence, which enhances direct supervision of its projects, has become a valued and results-focused international development partner, and is extending its reach to more rural people. A scientist, Nwanze earlier served as Director-General of the CGIAR Africa Rice Center for a decade, and was instrumental in introducing New Rice for Africa, or NERICA, a high-yield, drought- and pest-resistant variety. Nwanze earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Science from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria, in 1971, and a Doctorate in Agricultural Entomology from Kansas State University, United States, in 1975. He has received numerous honours and awards from governments and international institutions, as well as a Doctor of Science, honoris causa, from McGill University, Canada, and from the University of Warwick, United Kingdom.

Since 1 January 2015 Jacek Pastuszka is appointed President of Baltika Breweries and Senior Vice President Eastern Europe of the Carlsberg Group.Before joining Baltika, since November 2011 Jacek Pastuszka has been CEO of Ringnes Norway, part of the Carlsberg Group. He was appointed to this position after serving for three years as CEO in Carlsberg’s subsidiary in Poland. Before joining Carlsberg, he was CEO of American International Group (AIG) in Poland since 2005. Between 2001 and 2005 he was commercial director of Danone Dairy in Poland and Baltic countries. Before that he worked 10 years at Procter & Gamble holding various commercial positions in Poland, working on Wal*Mart Customer Team in the USA and leading P&G’s business with Tesco in Central European and Asian markets.Jacek has graduated from the Academy of Economics in Katowice, Poland, with a Master’s degree in Foreign Trade. He has also undergone numerous functional and general management trainings, primarily at Procter & Gamble and AIG.Jacek Pastuszka was born in 1963, he is married, with two grown-up kids.

Juergen Voegele, a German national, was appointed Senior Director of the Agriculture Global Practice on May 29, 2014. He previously served as Director for Agriculture and Environmental Services (AES) in the Bank’s Sustainable Development Network (SDN), a position he had held since 2008. Previously, he was Sector Manager for Agriculture in the Bank’s Europe and Central Asia region, a role he assumed following an assignment in Beijing as Principal Agricultural Specialist and Rural Sector Coordinator. Following his doctoral studies, Juergen consulted and undertook research for a number of agencies and locations, including Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH (GIZ, formerly GTZ) and the German Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) with assignments in the Caribbean, China, Myanmar, Niger, the Pacific Islands, and Togo among others. Juergen joined the World Bank in 1991 as a Young Professional. Career highlights include his leadership of the acclaimed Loess Plateau watershed management project in China, and managing a multi-sectoral team that disbursed more than $1 billion for 70 projects in response to the global Avian influenza crisis. Juergen has played a key role in shaping the global agenda on agriculture and food security. Juergen studied at the University of Hohenheim, Germany, from where he received a PhD in Agricultural Economics, a Master of Agricultural Engineering in Crop Production, Economics and Extension Forestry and a post-graduate degree in Phytomedicine.

Professor Anderson is an internationally recognized authority on agricultural trade policies and development, including GATT/WTO rules on agricultural policies and WTO accession. He is a former Counsellor and Deputy Director of Economic Research and Analysis at the GATT (now WTO) Secretariat, and formerly Lead Economist on Trade Policy at the World Bank (2004-07). He has authored or edited more than 30 books and 300 journal articles and chapters in other books, including 4 regional volumes (one on Eastern Europe and Central Asia) and 3 global volumes on Distortions to Agricultural Incentives, 1955-2012. He has led capacity building programs and published widely on WTO accession in agriculture, including for China, Laos, Nepal and Vietnam, and has been an advisor to the governments of Georgia and Azerbaijan. He serves on numerous boards and advisory panels, including as the current Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Washington DC-based International Food Policy Research Institute. He is also a Research Fellow with Europe’s London-based Centre for Economic Policy Research. He will lead the Kazakhstan FY15 Joint Economic Research Program on Agriculture and WTO Accession.

Andrey Guryev was appointed CEO by PhosAgro’s Board of Directors starting 1 August 2013. Prior to becoming CEO, he served as Deputy CEO of OJSC PhosAgro from April 2011. He was also Deputy CEO for Sales and Logistics of PhosAgro AG from October 2011 to June 2013. From June 2013 to August 2013 Mr. Guryev was the COO of PhosAgro AG. Mr. Guryev has worked at PhosAgro since 2004, holding various positions in the finance department and specialising in fertilizer exports. Mr Guryev graduated from The University of Greenwich in London with a BA in economics, and holds a Master’s degree from the Academy of National Economy under the Government of the Russian Federation. He received a PhD in economics from the National Mineral Resources University (University of Mining).

Mrs. Igumnova was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Global Ports in 2013. From 2006 to 2013, she served as the president of National Container Company (NCC). Prior to that, from 2002 to 2006, Mrs. Igumnova held the positions of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in First Quantum and Vice-President of Development and Investments in NCC. She was Director of Development and Investments in Seaport St. Petersburg PLC from 1998 to 2002. She started her career in major financial and investment companies including Sovlink, Alliance-MENATEP and Deloitte & Touche having. She graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University as a specialist in Foreign economic affairs, finance and enterprise analysis, and holds a Ph.D.

Vladimir Rakhmanin, FAO’s Assistant Director-General and Regional Representative for Europe and Central Asia, took office on 1 January 2014 at the Organization’s Regional Office in Budapest. Rakhmanin, a national of Russia, holds an M.Sc. in International Relations from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. His diplomatic and professional career has included assignments in Beijing (1982-1983) and Washington D.C. (1983-1986 and 1992-1996). He served in the late 1990s as spokesperson for the Russian Federation’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and as Director of the Information and Press Department. From 2000 to 2002 he was Chief of Protocol for the President of the Russian Federation, and from 2002 to 2006 served as Ambassador of the Russian Federation in Dublin, Ireland. From 2008 until joining FAO, he was Deputy Secretary General of the Energy Charter Secretariat in Brussels. Throughout his career, Rakhmanin has dealt with policy issues involving global and regional developments.

As European Commissioner for Agriculture, Dr. Cioloş was in charge of Europe’s Common Agriculture Policy (CAP). The CAP sets the expenditure rules for a very significant budget of about 60 billion Euros per year, spent on direct payments, rural development and market measures. Dr. Cioloş delivered key reforms to the CAP to strengthen the sustainability of EU farm payments. The Ciolos reforms also redirected a significant part of EU rural development payments towards climate change & biodiversity protection. Dr. Cioloş was responsible for the agricultural component of EU international trade negotiations. He has been directly involved in completing free trade area negotiations with Southern and West Africa, Canada, Ukraine, Georgia, Moldova, and Singapore. He also lead the agricultural aspects of the ongoing negotiations with the USA, Japan, Mercosur, and in the WTO. Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development in Romania (2007-2008).

Valery joined Mars in 2002 as a Sales manager in Far East. He held several positions in Saint Petersburg and Moscow where he managed Petcare Sales department. In 2011 Valery moved to Vienna, where he was responsible for the business development in a number of European countries (Portugal, Spain, Greece, Czech Republic/Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and BBA countries cluster – Вaltics/Balkans/Adriatic). In October, 2014 Valery was appointed General Manager of Mars Petcare, Russia. As of 25th of May 2015 he is President of Mars LLC, Russia.Before joining Mars, Valery worked in a number of Russian and foreign companies and also organized his own business. Valery graduated from Military University of the Ministry of Defense in 1989 and received an MBA diploma from the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA) in 2007.Valery was born in 1966, he is married and father of three children.
