Mathieu has worked across sectors, on commercial, market access and corporate development topics, in Europe and Emerging Markets. Before joining BCG, Mr. Lamiaux worked several years in Africa: for Proparco - Groupe Caisse Francaise de Developpement - in Cameroon and Equatorial Guinea where he was involved in risk capital and financing and in Tanzania where he was Operations Manager of a small tourism company. Mathieu obtained his business degree from HEC (Hautes Etudes Commerciales) in Paris.

Olivier was born in Montpellier, France and began his career right after Business School in Public Accounting. He spent close to 9 years with Deloitte, working in Audit in France and United States and then moving to Corporate Finance on cross border assignments. Olivier joined GE and GE Healthcare in 2004 as a Controller of the French platform. He then moved to finance management position for part of the business (Diagnostic Imaging) and ultimately taking over finance responsibility for the total GE Healthcare business in the country.Earlier in 2011, Olivier was promoted as the CFO of the Russian & CIS business, relocating in Moscow with his wife and 3 children. In 2013, he took over as President & CEO of GE Healthcare Russia & CIS. Olivier is married and has 3 children (2 boys of 9 and 13, 1 girl of 11).

Michael is Executive Vice President, Established Pharmaceuticals since April 2010, focusing on expanding the global market for Abbott’s branded generics portfolio. Most recently, Michael was SVP, Diagnostics, heading Abbott’s global core laboratory diagnostics business. Michael joined Abbott in 1986 as part of Abbott’s manufacturing professional development program. He served in a variety of management roles including VP and GM, Hematology, in Abbott’s Diagnostics business; VP, Global Engineering Services; DVP Pharmaceutical Operations; and DVP of Corporate Quality Operations. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University.

Ronald de Jong joined Philips in 1990. Over these years he has held a number of key management positions: he was in charge of Philips’ professional products and systems manufacturing in Germany, covered marketing and sales, supplies and service operations and managed supply chain in Europe. Such vast experience contributed to his understanding of market capabilities and helped him learn more about interacting with consumers. Following his role as Managing Director and Member of the Board of Philips Deutschland GmbH (with responsibility for bottom line in Germany, Austria and Switzerland) which he held from 2004, Ronald was appointed CEO Emerging Markets in 2008, and became a member of the Executive Team of Philips Healthcare. In 2011, Ronald was appointed Chief Market Leader and member of the Executive Committee in order to strengthen Philips’ focus on customers and markets. In 2012, Ronald de Jong became a member of the Supervisory Board of SNV, an international not-for-profit organization based in the Netherlands.

Mark Kurtser is the founder of the Mother and Child Group of Companies, Chairman of the Group’s Board of Directors, a correspondent member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, a doctor of medicine and a professor. He began his career at the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology of the Pirogov Second Moscow State Medical Institute, where he worked his way up from assistant to associate professor of the department. From 1994 to 2012, Kurtser was head of the Family Planning and Reproduction Centre of the Moscow Healthcare Department, the largest obstetrics and gynaecology institution in Moscow. In 2011, he defended his doctoral dissertation. From 2003 to 2013, he was the chief obstetrician and gynaecologist within the Moscow Healthcare Department. The Mother and Child Welfare programme was prepared with his involvement as part of the Municipal Targeted Programme for Healthcare Development for 2006–2007 and guidelines were developed for health and demographic indicators. The level of maternal and perinatal mortality declined in the city. Kurtser is the author of 45 scientific works, more than eleven textbooks and practical guidelines in obstetrics and gynaecology. PhD dissertations are held under his guidance. Kurtser is actively involved in holding conventions and symposiums and also lectures for practicing physicians and residents. He introduces innovative medical technologies to the work of obstetrics and gynaecology in-patient clinics. Kurtser remains actively involved in the activities of the Mother and Child Group both as an executive and as regular medical practitioner.

Education: in 1986, graduated with distinction from the Therapeutic Department of Moscow Institute of Medicine and Dentistry. Subsequently did post graduate studies, specialising in Urology in Moscow, Germany, France and the USA. He is the sole Russian urologist certified by the Higher European Urological Commission. He has performed the largest number of urological reconstructive plastic surgery operations in women. He has the most experience of performing surgical treatment of prostate cancer in the Russian Federation, including over one thousand robot-assisted radical prostatectomies. 2011: President of the European Academy of Urology. Since 2010, in conjunction with leading engineers, had been developing a Russia robot-surgery complex. Prof. Pushkar regularly performs demonstration operations and gives topical courses in Europe and the USA. He is the author of over 1000 scientific articles and 50 monographs in Russia and abroad.

Veronika Skvortsova was born in Moscow on November 1, 1960. She graduated from the 2nd Pirogov Moscow State Medical Institute in 1983 and completed a Postgraduate Clinical Residency Programme and an Advanced Postgraduate Programme specializing in neuropathology. In 1994, she qualified as a higher category neurologist. After graduating, she worked for the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute (the Russian State Medical University since 1991) for 25 years. Veronika Skvortsova became head of one of Russia’s first neurology emergency services at Moscow’s 1st municipal hospital established on the basis of the neurology clinic of the 2nd Moscow State Medical Institute in 1989. In 1989–1995, she served as assistant and, in 1995–1997, as assistant professor at the Neuropathology Department of the Russian State Medical University. She became Head of the Fundamental and Clinical Neurology and Neurosurgery Department in 1997. Veronika Skvortsova was appointed Director of the Russian Stroke Research Institute in 2005. She was Deputy Minister of Healthcare and Social Development from 2008 to 2012. Veronika Skvortsova was appointed Minister of Healthcare by Presidential Executive Order No. 650 of May 21, 2012. She is vice-president and co-founder of the National Stroke Association, director of the World Stroke Organization and secretary general of the European Stroke Council. She is a Doctor of Medicine, Professor, and Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. Veronika Skvortsova is an Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation. She has been awarded an Order of Honour and won the Pirogov Prize and Moscow Government Prize in Medicine. She is the author of more than 400 research papers and holds seven patents for her inventions.

In 1990 graduated Shenyang Medical Institute in China with a degree in Oriental Medicine for foreigners. Since 1991 remained on senior staff of various hi-tech retail and R&D companies. Became CEO of LDC MIBS in 2003 and currently oversees all the innovative projects in the company. The list of company’s projects includes: Largest MRI network in Russia. Largest telemedical network. Mikhail Shamolin was born in 1970.Mr. Shamolin was appointed President of Sistema in March 2011 and previously served as President and CEO of MTS Group from May 2008 until March 2011.Mikhail Shamolin previously held the position of Vice President and Head of the "MTS Russia" business unit from August 2006.Mr. Shamolin joined MTS in July 2005 as Vice President for Sales and Customer Service, prior to which he worked at Interpipe Corp. (Ukraine) as Managing Director of the Ferroalloys Division from 2004 to 2005, and at McKinsey & Co from 1998 to 2004.Mikhail Shamolin graduated from the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation in 1993, and completed a Finance & Management course at Wharton Business School in 1997.

Olivier Charmeil is a graduate of HEC (Ecole des Hautes Etudes Commerciales) and of the Institut d’Etudes Politiques in Paris. He began his career in the Mergers & Acquisitions department of Bank of the European Union, from 1989 to 1994. He then joined Sanofi Pharma in 1994 as head of Business Development. Subsequently, he held various positions within the Group, including Head of the Sanofi Operations in France and Vice President Development, within the Sanofi-Synthélabo International Operations team, where he was responsible for China and support functions. He was appointed to Senior Vice President, Asia/Pacific & Japan, Pharmaceutical Operations, in February 2006. Olivier Charmeil became President & CEO, Sanofi Pasteur, on January 2011. He is a member of the Sanofi Executive Committee.

Alberto Colzi earned his Engineering degree from Pisa University in Italy, and his post-graduate degree in Business Administration from Durham University, United Kingdom.Alberto Colzi joined Abbott Italy in 1991. Until 1998, he held various positions in the Marketing and Service organization. In 1998, Mr. Colzi was promoted to Commercial Director, Latin America and in 1999 was named General Manager, Abbott Chile. In 2004, he was promoted to Regional Director, Southern Europe and in 2006 he was named General Manager, Abbott Italy.In 2010, Mr. Colzi was appointed Vice President, Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, and in 2013, he became responsible for Eastern Europe, Middle East & Africa Operations for AbbVie, shortly following the separation of Abbott into two publicly traded companies: Abbott and AbbVie.

Simon Matskeplishvili, MD, PhD, FESC, FACC, is a Professor of Cardiology and a Chief Scientific and Clinical Researcher at the Bakoulev Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery in Moscow and an adjunct professor of life sciences at the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. He also serves as a member of the Education, Certification and Accreditation, European Communities Committees of the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging. He graduated with honors from the Moscow Medical Academy in 1994 and had his postgraduate training and fellowship in cardiology at the Clinico-Diagnostic Department of the Bakoulev Center. In 1997-1998 he received a degree of the International Master in Cardiology from the Institute of Clinical Physiology of the National Research Council of Italy in Pisa. Simon Matskeplishvili is a Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He has received numerous honours and awards, both in Russia and internationally, including the European Cardiology award in 2001. He is a founder and a Chairman of the echocardiography section of the Russian society of cardiology. In 2007 he became a full professor of cardiology. For the development of new non-invasive method of intracardiac blood flow evaluation in 2012 he was awarded a State Prize of the Government of Russian Federation in science and technology. In 2013 he was a captain of the Russian team to win an ESC Cardiology Quiz “Primus inter pares” at the European Congress of Cardiology in Amsterdam. In 2012 Professor Simon Matskeplishvili had organized and implemented the Educational Program for cardiologists and internal medicine physicians in Moscow. He also conducts an English-language elective course “Amazing Cardiology” in cardiology, cardiac surgery and cardiovascular imaging at the Faculty of Medicine of the Lomonosov Moscow State University. The Board of the European Society of Cardiology has appointed Simon Matskeplishvili as the Coordinator of the Congress Programme Committee of the European Society of Cardiology Congress 2015-2016.

Mikhail Paltsev was born on November 9, 1949 in Moscow.He graduated from Sechenov 1st Moscow Medical Institute in 1972. 1987 to 2009: President, Sechenov Moscow Medical Academy.2006 to 2011: First Vice President, Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.2011 to present: Deputy Director for Medical and Biological Research, Kurchatov Institute National Research Centre.January 2015 to present: Acting Chief Academic Secretary, Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences. Corresponding member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences since 1991, full member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences since 1994, full member of the Russian Academy of Sciences – Medical Sciences Division since 1997. Mikhail Paltsev is a specialist in the field of functional morphology. He has been among the pioneers of new scientific areas in Russia: molecular medicine and predictive, preventive and personalized medicine. His research concerns the search for molecular markers of socially important diseases, development of advanced diagnostic methods, development of new-generation drugs, and modern techniques and principles for treating diseases using gene and cell technology. He has authored more than 600 papers, including some 80 monographs, manuals, textbooks and atlases, and made 25 inventions. A member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Inter-Agency Council on Awarding Russian Federation Government Prizes in the Field of Science and Technology, and the Russian Accreditation Council. A national representative in the European Association for Predictive, Preventive and Personalized Medicine (ЕРМА). He has received the USSR State Prize, Russian Federation President’s Prize, and Russian Federation Government Prize (four times). He has received a commendation from the President of the Russian Federation. Mikhail Paltsev has also received the Order of Sign of Honour, Order of Friendship and Order of Merit to the Motherland, 4th Degree.

Mr. Roytberg is the director of JSC Medicina as well as a practicing doctor and scientist. Grigory was at the forefront of the introduction of such fundamental diagnostics techniques such as coronary angiography and echocardiography. He is the founder of the scientific school for metabolic syndrome and the author of over 200 scientific papers, including six monographs. After graduating from the Pirogov Second Moscow Medical Institute in 1974, he took up clinical residency with a major in Cardiology. During his studies, he worked as a doctor in the cardiology department, and then in the cardiac intensive care unit of the Seventh Moscow City Hospital. In 1982, he defended his thesis and was awarded the title of associate professor. He obtained a Doctorate of Medical Sciences in 1990. In the same year under, the Medicina clinic was founded under Roitberg’s guidance. The Therapy and Family Medicine Department of Pirogov Russian National Research Medical University (RNRMU) has been working on the core of the Medicina clinic under the supervision of Mr. Roytberg since 1998. Mr. Roytberg was awarded the title of Honoured Doctor of the Russian Federation in 2003 and elected as a correspondent member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences in 2005. The textbook “Laboratory and Instrumental Diagnostics of Diseases of the Internal Organs”, which was prepared in collaboration with Professor A. Strutynsky, the chair of the RNRMU Propaedeutics of Internal Diseases Department, was awarded the Prize of the Moscow Mayor in medicine. In 2010, Mr. Roytberg was awarded the Prize of the RF Government in education for the series of works “Fundamentals of the clinical diagnosis of diseases of the internal organs”. In 2011, Grigory Roytberg was elected a member of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences.
