Born in 1945 in Bronte (Italy). In 1964 graduated from a classic lyceum. In 1969, first graduated from faculty of Philology, and later in Economics and Commerce at University of Catania. From 1970 to 1989 he gave lectures at the Faculty of Economics and Commerce at Verona University. In 1995 he was accredited by the Central Bank of the Russian Federation as a Head of Moscow office of Banco Ambrosiano Veneto, which preceded Banca Intesa S.p.A. (today – the Intesa Sanpaolo Group). Since 2003 he is a President of the Banca Intesa Russia. In 2007, he founded the association in Verona "Conoscere Eurasia" public, non-profit organization with the aim of developing and deepening cultural, social and economic relations between Italy and the Eurasian countries. In 2008 he received the honorary title of Doctor of Science conferred by the Plekhanov Russian University of Economics In May 2008 was appointed as an Honorary Consul of the Russian Federation in Verona. In 2012 was appointed as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the first Russian-Italian private equity fund MIR Capital, established by Intesa Sanpaolo and Gazprombank. Alessandro Castellano is the Chief Executive Officer of SACE, a diversified insurance group offering financial products for companies including risk management solutions, export credit, political and commercial risk insurance as well as surety, credit insurance and factoring. He joined SACE in 2004 as General Manager assuming overall responsibilities for the company’s business development and transacting groups. In this role he contributed to the transformation of SACE into a joint stock company and developed SACE’s new business model. Prior he worked for Deutsche Morgan Grenfell & Co. Ltd in London, where he held several responsibilities within the Investment Banking Division with specific focus on Debt Capital Markets and Structured Finance. Since 1996, Lev Kuznetsov worked for five years at Norilsk Nickel as head of the Audit Department, Director of Audit, Deputy General Director of Norilsk Nickel and Senior Deputy General Director of Norilsk Combine. In February 2001, he was invited to take up the post of Senior Deputy Governor of the Taimyrsky (Dolgano-Nenetsky) Autonomous Area and Chairman of the Committee for Management of State Property of the Area Administration, which he held until October 2002. Since October 2002, he was Senior Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. From June 2003 to November 2003, he was Acting Governor of Norilsk. From November 2003 to June 2007, he was Senior Deputy Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Since June 2007, he has served as the adviser to the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory on economic matters. Since 2008 to February 16, 2010, he was General Director of Kolmar. On February 17, 2010, he took up the post of Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. On November 27, 2010, he became member of the Praesidium of the Political Council, regional division of the Yedinaya Rossiya (United Russia) Party. On May 12, 2014, Vladimir Putin signed an order on ‘Early termination of powers as Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory’, releasing Lev Kuznetsov to be appointed, on the same day, as Minister of North Caucasus Affairs of the Russian Federation. A graduate of Economics and Business from the Luiss University of Roma, he began his professional career in the Finance department of Banca Nazionale del Lavoro in 1987, rising to the position of Manager in charge of Corporate Finance in 1990. While developing his professional career, he carried out intense academic activities as Professor of Economics of Financial Intermediaries at the Business Administration Master of the Luiss School of Management and Professor of Corporate Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Business of Ancona. In 1995, he joined Banco Ambrosiano Veneto as Manager in charge of the Planning Department. He held important positions through the different integration stages: Head of Planning and Research and Head of the Control Department within Intesa BCI; Head of the Planning and Control department and Head of the Risk Management Department within Banca Intesa; Head of the Value Creation Governance until June 2008, Chief Financial Officer and a General Manager until May 2013, General Manager Deputy to the CEO and responsible for the Chief Financial Officer Governance Area from May to September 2013 within Intesa Sanpaolo. He is currently a member of the ABI’s Executive Committee (Italian Bankers’ Association) and, since November 2014, member of the Bocconi University Board.

Since July 5th, 2012 he is Vice President of Simest, that provides equity co-investment for Italian companies investing abroad. Mauro Moretti was appointed Chief Executive Officer and General Manager of Leonardo – Finmeccanica S.p.a. on 15 May 2014. Mr. Moretti currently holds many positions: President of the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD) since March 2015; Co-Chairman of the Italy-Japan Business Group since September 2015; Honorary Chairman of AIAD (the Italian Industries Federation for Aerospace, Defence and Security) since July 2014, and President of the FS Foundation since 2013. Mr. Moretti is also member of the General Council of Confindustria, member of the Confindustria European Technical Group (since October 2006 and May 2012 respectively), member of the General Council of Unindustria (Association of Manufacturers and Enterprises) of Rome and Lazio (since May 2015), and Chairman of the Fondazione Ricerca & Imprenditorialità (since February 2015). Mr. Moretti began his career in 1978 having been selected for a managerial position at the Italian State Railways Corporation. There he covered numerous roles in a variety of different sectors and in 2006 he was appointed CEO of the Corporation. His prestigious awards include: the Italian Order of Merit for Labour (2010) and an Honorary Degree in Mechanical Engineering, University of Cassino (2005). Mr. Moretti was born in Rimini, Italy, in 1953 and earned an honors degree in Electrotechnical Engineering from the University of Bologna in 1977.

Romano Prodi born in Scandiano (Reggio Emilia, Italy) in 1939. Married with Flavia Franzoni. They have two sons, Giorgio and Antonio. Professor of Industrial Economics, Bologna University In 1974 he was a visiting professor at Harvard University and at the Stanford Research Institute. From November 1978 to March 1979, Romano Prodi Minister of Industry. From November 1982 to October 1989, and from 1993 to 1994, he was chairman and CEO of the Institute for Industrial Reconstruction (IRI), which was the largest Italian public holding. In February 1995 he founded the "Olive tree" centre-left coalition, which designated him as its candidate for premiership. The coalition won the 1996 election and, in May 1996, he was appointed Prime Minister. He remained in office until October 1998 enabling Italy to meet the Maastricht criteria. From 1999 to 2005 he has been President of the European Commission. In 2006 Romano Prodi elected leader of the centre-left coalition and after a victory in the 2006 elections became Prime Minister, until May 8, 2008. He is, since then, President of the Foundation for Worldwide Cooperation and in July 2008 he has been appointed as Chairman of the United Nations-African Union High-level Panel for Peacekeeping in Africa. From February 2009 to December 2013 he was Professor at-large at Brown University (USA). From 2010 he is Professor of CEIBS (China Europe International Business School) in Shanghai. From October 2012 to January 2014 he served as the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for the Sahel. During his academic and institutional career, Romano Prodi has been awarded a number of recognitions and he also holds various honorary degrees.

Since September 2013 he’s been appointed Ambassador of Italy to the Russian Federation. From July 2009 until September 2013 he was Permanent Representative of Italy to the United Nations in New York. In 2006 he was bestowed the rank of “Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic”. In November 2006 he was the Foreign Ministry’s Director-General for the Mediterranean and the Middle East. In 2004 he was appointed the Prime Minister’s Representative to the G8 Summit (Sherpa) and was in charge of preparations for the Gleneagles and Saint Petersburg Summits. From 2002 to 2004 he was Chef de Cabinet to the Foreign Minister, a position he took up after serving as the Prime Minister’s Representative for the Balkans in 2001. From 1999 to 2002 he was Deputy Diplomatic Adviser to the Prime Minister. From 1996 to 1999 his overseas service also included appointments as Head of the Italian diplomatic mission in Baghdad, Iraq. In 1992 he was named Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi, India, where he served until 1995. From 1989 to 1992 he was Director of the Foreign Ministry’s Intelligence Unit. First Secretary at Italy’s Embassy in Ottawa, Canada, between 1984 and 1987; and Consul in Tehran, Iran, from 1981 to 1984. Joined the Foreign Service on 4 May 1978. Graduated in International Relations at the “Université Libre de Bruxelles” in 1975 and in Political Sciences, with an international focus, at the “Cesare Alfieri” Faculty of the University of Florence in 1976. Edoardo Reviglio, is Chief Economist and Head of Economic and Statistical Research at "Cassa depositi e prestiti" (CDP), Rome. He is professor of economics at LUISS Guido Carli in Rome. He acted as Economic Advisor to the Italian Minister of Economy and Finance. He is the General Secretary of the Commission to reform the Public Property section of the Italian Civil Code. He is a member of the Scientific Committee of the Club of Long Term Investors, Paris. In the past he has covered various positions in the public sector, including: Chief Economist and Head of the Research Department at Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale (IRI) and Member of the Council of Economic Advisers of the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance. Prof. Reviglio received his BA, Summa Cum Laude, from Yale College; was Research Fellow at the Mathematical Center Vito Volterra (Università di Roma Tor Vergata, 1988-90); visiting Scholar at Department of Mathematics of Yale University (1990-1992); Post Doctoral Fellow and Research Associate at the Department of Mathematics of Imperial College, University of London (1992-1994). He is author of ten books and several scientific articles published in Italian and international journals.

He is a member of the supervisory board of United Rocket and Space Corporation, Chairman of the All-Russian Public Organization - Russian Engineering Union, as well as President of the All-Russian Industrial Association of Employers - Russian Engineering Union. Alexander N. Shokhin was born 25 December, 1951. Graduated from the Moscow State University in 1974. Doctor of Economics, Professor. Twice, in 1991-1994 and in 1998, Mr. Shokhin held the post of Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation. In 1991-1994 he also held positions of Minister of Labor, Minister of Economics, Chairman of the Russian Agency for International Cooperation and Development. From 1994 to 2002 – Deputy of the State Duma, with the posts of First Vice Chairman of the State Duma, leader of the Duma party bloc 'Our Home is Russia', Head of the Duma Committee on Credit Institutions and Capital Markets. Since 1995 - President of the National Research University – Higher School of Economics. From 2002 to 2006 – Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Investment Group "Renaissance Capital". From 2005 to 2009 – member of the RF Public Chamber. Since 2005 – President of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. Mr. Shokhin is a member of several deliberative bodies under the Russian President and Government. He is also an independent director on the Boards of several companies, including ALROSA, Russian Railways, TMK and others.
