In 2007, she received Bachelor’s degrees from two prestigious economics institutions schools at once: the London School of Economics (specializing in Economics and Management) and the National Research University – Higher School of Economics (International College of Economics and Finance, specializing in Management and Economics). She became a stock observer for the news department of the Expert-TV channel at the peak of the financial crisis, so she experienced everything that happened following the collapse of Lehman Brothers ‘live’ on TV. She started her Master’s programme at the Department of Economics of the National Research University – Higher School of Economics (specializing in the Stock Market and Investments) in 2008. Also in 2008, she launched Invest Ideas on Expert TV, a programme on the most promising second tier chips on the Russian stock market. Simultaneously, she worked for the Invest-Media publishing house, which brings out the Direct Investment magazine. Initially, she was an economic analyst for the magazine, then later became head of the Macroeconomics and Finance division. She started work for the economics department of the Russia 24 television channel in June 2011. She is currently author and host of two television programmes: New Week Events and Economics. From 1981 to 1986, he worked as an intern researcher and junior research fellow of the Central Economics and Mathematics Institute under the USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1986 to 1990, he was a junior research fellow, a research fellow and a senior research fellow at the Institute of Economics and Forecasting of Scientific and Technical Progress under the USSR Academy of Sciences. From 1990 to 2006, he worked as a senior research fellow and head of the laboratory of the Institute for Economic Forecasting under the Russian Academy of Sciences. From 2006 to 2008, he was Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Russian Federation. In 2008, he was appointed Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. From 2008 to 2012, he was Director of the Department of Economics and Finances under the Government of the Russian Federation. From 2012 to 2013, he was Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation. Since June 24, 2013, he has been an Aide to the President of the Russian Federation. He holds the rank of an Active State Counsellor of the Russian Federation, first class. He is a doctor of economic sciences. In 2007, he was awarded the honorary title ‘Honoured Economist of the Russian Federation’. In 2009, he was awarded the Order of Honour. He is married with one son.

In 2014, Elena Dybova was appointed head of the Committee for Development of the Small and Medium-Sized Businesses under the CCI of Russia. At the 7th Congress of the CCI of Russia, she was elected Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. Elena Dybova takes an active part in all events (conferences, roundtables and meetings) to protect the interests of small businesses and optimise their cooperation with government authorities. Mr. Zafesov began his career in public service at the regional branches of Russia’s Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology. Starting from 2001, his professional activities have been related to organising and carrying out procurement procedures for government and municipal needs (as he worked his way up from a department head in a municipality to head of the department for government procurements and the consumer market in the administration of a constituent entity of the Russian Federation). In 2007, Mr. Zafesov continued his career in corporate procurements and worked in this area at MMC Norilsk Nickel and then at the Federal Grid Company of Unified Energy System in 2009. At present, he is head of Energostroysnabkomplekt Unified Energy System and the Procurement Department of Rosseti, where he handles the organisation, implementation and methodological support for procurement procedures and the development of regulations and standards for procurement activities in accordance with the requirements of existing legislation. He is married with two children.

Andrey Nikitin was born in Moscow in 1979. In 2001, he graduated from the State University of Management (Moscow). In 2007, he received an EMBA degree of the internationally accredited Stockholm School of Economics. In 2002-2011 he worked at the RUSKOMPOZIT Group, unifying Russian biggest companies in the fiberglass, composites and geosynthetics industries. Andrey Nikitin held different positions at the group, since 2009 he became General Director of «RUSKOMPOZIT Management Company» OJSC. Since July 27th, 2011 he has been working as General Director of a non-profit organization "Agency for Strategic Initiatives" (ASI). The Agency implements comprehensive projects aimed at enhancement of the investment climate, the development of vocational education and supplementary education for children. The ASI also coordinates the National Technology Initiative — a set of measures to create fundamentally new markets.
