Key moments

The only solution (in fighting corruption) is more transparency (in budget spending and resource allocation) and putting pressure on the legal system to respond.
Oleg Deripaska
We need to have better relations and a clear agenda between Europe and Asia, as well as Islamic world, which is also important for us.
Oleg Deripaska
Government has a very important role in contributing to the creation of a positive climate for business growth. It has a very important role in the supply side of the economy, providing the basis on which businesses can grow. But at the end of the day, it’s down to individual enterprising people who take big risks in creating and developing their businesses.ма
Lord Mandelson
I do have some optimism about 2020 onwards because I think that the structural reform that is necessary at the national level amongst many European economies and the transformation of the Eurozone and its currency into something more durable and sustainable, all the changes that are needed to bring that about, have started. So, in that sense, we are not “wasting” the crisis. We can draw some encouragement but not complacency because we have some way to go as Europeans.
Lord Mandelson
Europe, in my opinion, needs strong leadership and new drivers of consumption. Furthermore, you need to attract more investors. Otherwise, all of your great assets and achievements won’t be utilised and there won’t be a platform for future growth.
