The competition between major global cultural capital cities for recognition has only grown fiercer over recent years and major cities such as Paris, London, New York, Madrid, Moscow, and St. Petersburg are renewing efforts to enhance their positions. The deciding factor in this competition will be the strategic and comprehensive development of cultural industries.
