Founded in 1996, PCM has $4bn invested in Russia/CIS equities. With its “active” investment approach, and reputation for thorough “bottom-up” research, the company often tops performance charts for emerging markets funds, winning numerous awards from MarHedge, Lipper and S&P. Halligan first worked in Russia in 1994 – as an advisor/statistician at the government’s Working Centre for Economic Reform. He co-founded the Russian-European Centre for Economic Policy and Russian Economic Trends and was a founding board member of PCM's flagship Russian Prosperity Fund. For several years, Halligan combined his interest in Russia with journalism, for The Economist, Financial Times and then Channel 4 News — receiving a string of awards for his writing/broadcasting. Having re-joined PCM full-time in 2007, Halligan still writes his long-standing weekly Sunday Telegraph Economics Agenda column — which has won a coveted British Press Award. He holds a First Class Degree (Econ) from the University of Warwick and M.Phil (Econ) from Oxford University. He is listed in Who's Who, DeBretts People of Today and The Dictionary of International Biography.

President and Chief Executive Officer at Tele2 AB since September 1, 2010. Previously as head of Market Unit North Western Europe, a position he has held since 1st October 2008. Prior to this, Mats was the President of Ericsson India and Sri Lanka, and previously President of Ericsson Mobile Systems CDMA Business Unit (BU) in San Diego, CA. Mats is a graduate of the Royal Institute of Technology, Sweden and brings over 15 years of rich experience across engineering, marketing, sales and management functions. Prior to joining Ericsson, he was a senior management consultant for Anderson Consulting and subsequently, a partner with Arrigo Consultants where his major accounts included Volvo, Nokia and Allgon, among others. Mats joined Ericsson in 1995 as a Manager of Production on the Nynäshamn (Plant) factory. In 1997, he became the Key Account Manager for Telia Mobile where he was responsible for leading the sales and marketing efforts for the Nordic operator. Soon after, he was promoted to Vice President of Ericsson Mobile Business Solutions division and then as Head of Market Unit North Africa/President, Ericsson Egypt. After a two-year assignment, Mats was named as Head, Core Unit Supply/Vice President and General Manager of Ericsson. He directed all Ericsson factories and associated flow control centers, as well as strategic supply.

In 2004 - 2005 - counselor of the Minister of economic development and trade of the Russian Federation. Since 2005 - the head of Secretary of the Chairman of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation, and in 2006 - 2010 - the head of the machinery - the manager of the Supreme Arbitration Court of the Russian Federation. The senior lecturer of the civil law department of the faculty of law of the St.-Petersburg state university. The author of more than 30 scientific publications on civil law problems.

Steve Crossan is the Head of Google's Cultural Institute based in Paris, an engineering group devoted to using technology to meet the needs of the cultural sector, with projects including the Google Art Project and the Dead Sea Scrolls Online. He's been at Google since 2005, first as part of the team setting up Google's first R&D centre outside the US in Zürich, then as a Project Manager on Gmail in California. This new role brings together 2 sides of Steve's background; he read Modern History at Oxford before taking a Masters in Computer Science at UCL, and it was studying the history of technology that took him from one to the other. Prior to Google he started 3 companies in the UK, in fields including digital asset management and open source software. He grew up in Africa, France and England.

As Curator of New Media and Head of the Internet Office at The Israel Museum, Jerusalem, Dr. Hazan’s responsibilities include: identifying, and implementing digital solutions for the gallery, online and mobile platforms and outreach programs. Her PhD at Goldsmiths College, University of London in Media and Communications focused on electronic architectures in the contemporary museum. Hazan has been recognized for her numerous publications on new media in education, art, museums and cultural heritage, and is currently investigating social networks, innovative platforms for disseminating virtual museum, and digital libraries in the context of cultural heritage. Hazan was visiting lecturer at the Computing Department at Goldsmiths, University of London; guest lecture in the Museology Department at Haifa University, Israel and on the Intelligent Heritage Course, at City University, Hong Kong. Hazan is the Israel Coordinator the World Summit Award and Co-Chair of the Annual Jerusalem Conference on the Digitisation of Cultural Heritage (2004-2012).

Dr. Mike Yao is an associate professor in the Department of Media and Communication at City University of Hong Kong. His research focuses on the social and psychological impacts of interactive digital media. Dr. Yao has conducted research and written on a variety of topics in this area including online privacy, free speech and censorship, computer-mediated communication, social media, and video games. His publications appear in international academic journals such as Computers in Human Behavior, Cyberpsychology, Behavior & Social Networking, Journal of the American Society for Information Science and Technology, Communication Law Review, and Mass Communication and Society. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Yao was a two-term board member of The Women’s Foundation, a Hong Kong based NGO dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls. He is also actively involved in the development and organization of several other NGOs in the areas of media education and digital culture. Dr. Yao was born in China; he received his Ph.D. in Communication from the University of California, Santa Barbara, from where he also earned his BAs in Psychology and Film Studies.

Born 26 July 1971 in Moscow. Graduated from Moscow State Pedagogical University in 1993. From 1993 to 1998 took various jobs from a school teacher to a television producer. In 1998 he worked for Radio Maximum in PR, marketing and programming. From 1993 to 1998 — PR director of the Maxidrom festival. In March 2002 he became a head of the Marketing and PR Departments at MTV, then held a position of a Vice President. From December 2005 to the present — a CEO of Universal Music in Russia and CIS countries.

Studied in the Economics Faculty at the Russian State Institute of Cinematography, and is a graduate of the Russian Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Russian Federation. In 2001, she started work in a property management company. In 2004, she set up Eleven, which was then Moscow’s biggest photographic studio. Since the end of 2005, she has been Head of the WINZAVOD Centre for Contemporary Art in Moscow. Sofya Trotsenko not only set up the arts centre from scratch, but also turned the industrial space of a former factory into one of the main cultural centres in Moscow. She was the driving force behind the creation of the START programme, which supports young contemporary artists, and the annual “Best photographs in Russia” project, which involves people from every part of our country. WINZAVOD’s educational activity includes running series of lectures by leading experts in the field of contemporary culture, creative workshops and children’s studios, and publishing the Winzavod ArtReview newspaper. Sofya sees her mission as supporting contemporary Russian culture.
