Yury Spektorov is a partner in Bain & Company's Moscow office and the managing partner of Bain CIS. He is an expert in Bain's Industrial Goods & Services practice and one of the leaders of the firm's Air Transportation & Services practice. Yury has more than 20 years of management consulting experience, working with senior executives and management teams to address their most pressing strategic issues. Yury has led multiple transformation projects aimed at aligning organizations with a customer-focused strategy while achieving efficient operations and cost management. He holds deep expertise in strategy, revenue management, sales, distribution, organization and restructuring initiatives. He advises multi-national and local Eastern European companies in a range of industries, including airlines, transportation, logistics, finance, oil and gas, telecom, energy, automotive, consumer products and retail. In these client engagements, he specializes in growth strategy, performance improvement, private equity, mergers & acquisitions, post-merger integration and manufacturing optimization and relocation. Yury joined Bain's Boston office in 1993 and subsequently led the launch of the firm's offices in Moscow and Kiev. He earned his MBA and a Bachelor's degree in economics from Bentley University in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Pierre-Dimitri Gore-Coty

Head of Europe, Middle East and Africa, Uber Technologies Inc.

Pierre heads Uber’s operations across Europe, Middle East and Africa overseeing the company’s growing business across 45 countries and over 120 cities. Spending some years at Goldman Sachs, becoming an entrepreneur at the age 27 and harnessing a big urge to build something, Pierre joined Uber’s first international city as General Manager for France in 2012. As one of the earliest members of the team and with a conviction of the need to offer better transport options, he mass-scaled Uber’s service across Europe before taking the challenge to the wider region. Pierre first developed his passion for numbers during school, coding and building websites with friends, after which he further developed his skills at the Ecole Centrale de Paris before heading to New York to study Financial Engineering at Columbia University. He is a French citizen based in Amsterdam.

Bruno Di Leo

Senior Vice President, IBM Corporation

Bruno Di Leo is Senior Vice President, Global Markets for the IBM Corporation, accountable for revenue, profit, and client satisfaction in Japan, Asia Pacific, Latin America, Greater China Group, and the Middle East and Africa. He also oversees IBM’s Enterprise and Commercial segments globally. In his role, Mr. Di Leo has responsibility for IBM's worldwide results, which exceeded $79 billion in 2016. Mr. Di Leo has more than 40 years of business leadership experience in multinational environments, having lived and held executive positions on four continents. During his career, he has built a reputation for operational excellence, innovative strategic thinking, working with the highest level of integrity, and a deep commitment to IBM clients. He began his career at IBM in Peru in 1975 as a software customer engineer. His first significant leadership role for the company was leading the $1B Global Services business in Brazil in 1999. After returning the unit to growth, he became General Manager of IBM Brazil, then General Manager for IBM Latin America, where he led 13,000 employees and oversaw IBM’s operations in 20 countries. While in Latin America, Mr. Di Leo delivered consistent revenue and profit growth and initiated the transformation of the region’s manufacturing centers into Global Services Delivery Centers. In 2005 Mr. Di Leo moved to Europe to become General Manager for Global Technology Services in Southwest Europe and then General Manager, Northeast Europe. In the latter, he delivered consistent profitable growth each quarter and was responsible for $16B in revenue. He led 60,000 employees across all of IBM's business operations, had full profit and loss ownership, and ensured risk management, compliance and business controls across IBM's business units in northern, central and eastern Europe. At the time, the unit included parts of the Middle East and Africa; Mr. Di Leo began to architect and lay the foundation for IBM’s Growth Markets Unit by splitting off the emerging markets from the European market. In 2008, Mr. Di Leo became General Manager of the new Growth Markets Unit based in Shanghai. His mission was to drive business expansion in high growth economies across Asia Pacific, Latin America, Central and Eastern Europe, and the Middle East and Africa. All told, the unit encompassed in excess of $20B in revenue and 220,000 employees in 140 countries. During his tenure the business consistently delivered significant revenue and margin growth, outpaced the market and gained share. Currently, Mr. Di Leo sits on the Board of Directors of Cummins Inc., is a member of the International Advisory Board of Instituto de Estudios Superiores de la Empresa in Spain, and is also a member of the Deming Center Advisory Board of Columbia Business School. He holds a Business Administration degree from Ricardo Palma University and a postgraduate degree from Escuela Superior de Administracion de Negocios, both in Peru. He is fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, English and Italian. Today he resides in New York City and holds dual citizenship in Italy and Peru.

Albert Eganyan

Albert Eganyan is recognised by market participants, regulators, key national and foreign reference guides and ratings as one of Russia’s leading experts on infrastructure investments, PPP and project financing. In recent years, he has been involved in delivery of over four dozen major projects in the road, railway, airport, social, IT, energy and other infrastructure spheres, beginning with the very first PPP projects in Russia. He is a regular speaker at leading sectoral, expert and departmental conferences, boasting a significant number of published works. Since 2011,: co-founder and Chairman of the Board of InfraONE (First Infrastructure Company), specialising in the full cycle of investments in infrastructure projects. In recent years, the company has been among the leaders on the relevant market. Founder, co-owner and Chairman of the Partners’ Board of the national law firm VEGA LEX, a leading consultancy known, among other things, for its projects in the sphere of infrastructure investments and public-private partnership. Author and co-author of a significant part of the federal law regulating various PPP forms. Member of the Expert Board under the Russian Government and the General Board of the All-Russia NGO Delovaya Rossiya (Business Russia). In recent years, he has been a member of the Board of Directors from the Russian Federation of the biggest infrastructure companies, including the so-called special list of strategic enterprises: airports, seaports, financial institutions and many others. He has also represented the interests of Russian regions or biggest private shareholders on the Boards of Directors. He is a member of strategic boards in a number of biggest national infrastructure FSUEs. As a champion of infrastructure development in Russia, he acts as project manager and representative of national and regional authorities and big private companies in implementing various projects and also as an investor in different infrastructure projects.

Fang Liu

Secretary General, International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO)

Dr. Fang Liu is the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), having been appointed for a three-year term from August 2015. Prior to her appointment as Secretary General, Dr Liu served for eight years as the Director of the ICAO’s Bureau of Administration and Services (ADB). During her tenure, she contributed extensively to the ICAO’s Senior Management Group and also participated in the High-Level Committee on Management within the United Nations common system. She transformed the administration of the ICAO by enhancing efficiencies, improving governance and providing effective management and support in areas such as human resources, language services, and conference and information technology services. Prior to joining the ICAO, Dr. Liu served at the General Administration of Civil Aviation of China (CAAC), where, over the course of twenty years, she successively held the posts of Legal Counsel, Deputy Director, Director and Deputy Director General, Department of International Affairs and Cooperation. She was responsible for China’s international air transport policy and regulations, bilateral and multilateral relations with international and regional organizations, including the ICAO, the World Trade Organization, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC), the European Union, and the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). During her career with the CAAC, Dr. Liu was elected to chair the Aviation Group of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) and was nominated by China to sit on the Air Transport Regulation Panel in the ICAO. She also served as an expert on mediation and dispute resolution. She was chief negotiator for the Chinese government for bilateral and multilateral air transport agreements with foreign countries. Dr. Liu earned a PhD in international law at Wuhan University, China and a Master’s degree in air and space law at Leiden University, The Netherlands. She is the Director of the Association of Air Law of China and of the Association of Private International Law of China, and has published articles and delivered lectures on a wide range of topics relating to international air transport regulation and air law. She speaks Chinese and English and has a knowledge of French.

Alexander Misharin

First Vice President, Russian Railways

Alexander Misharin was born in 1959. He graduated from the Urals State University of Railway Transport as a Railway Transport Electrification in 1981. He obtained his second university degree, in economics, from the same university in 1997. Misharin has a CSc degree in economics and a DSc in engineering.He started out as an electrician and rose through the company to become chief engineer of Sverdlovsk Railway. He served as Deputy, First Deputy Minister of the Railways, Chief of Sverdlovsk Railway, Director of the Department for Integrated Development of the Infrastructure of the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation, Deputy Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation, and Director of the Department for Industry and Infrastructure of the Central Office of the Government of the Russian Federation.He was Governor of the Sverdlovsk Region from 2009 to 2012.Alexander Misharin became First Vice-President of Russian Railways JSCo in December 2012.

Maxim Sokolov

Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation

Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Maksim Sokolov. Born in Leningrad on September 29, 1968. Completed his national service in the army in 1987–1989. Graduated from St. Petersburg State University Faculty of Economics in 1991. He also studied at the university’s Faculty of Law from 1989 to 1991. From 1991 to 1993, Mr. Sokolov taught at the St. Petersburg State University Faculty of Economics. From 1992–1999, he was General Director of ROSSI Concern. From 1999 to 2004, Mr. Sokolov was General Director of Korporatsia C. From 2004 to 2009, he served as Chairman of the Committee for Investment and Strategic Projects of St. Petersburg. In 2009, Mr. Sokolov became a member of the Government of St. Petersburg: Chairman of the Committee for Economic Development, Industrial Policy and Trade. On December 4, 2009, he was named Director of the Department of Industry and Infrastructure of the Government of the Russian Federation. On 21 May, 2012, Mr. Sokolov was appointed Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation by Presidential Executive Order No. 660. Maksim Sokolov has been awarded the Ribbon of the Order “For Merit to the Fatherland” 2nd class and the Governor of St. Petersburg Badge “For the Humanization of the St. Petersburg school”. He has three sons.

Mr. Juha Järvinen has 18 years aviation experience with positions in passenger commercial operations, airport operations, customer fulfillment centre services as well as cargo. After 14 years with Scandinavian SAS Group in London, Helsinki, Tallinn and Stockholm, he managed the Finnair Cargo subsidiary as Managing Director during 2012-2014, with focus on re-positioning the cargo unit for future growth and toughening market environment. Since October 2014, he took over as Chief Commercial Officer for Finnair, with responsibility for airline's commercial functions, cargo, tour operator and travel agency units. Finnair is a network airline specializing in passenger and cargo traffic between Asia and Europe. Helsinki's geographical location gives Finnair a competitive advantage, since the fastest connections between many European destinations and Asian megacities fly over Finland. Finnair's vision is to offer its passengers a unique Nordic experience, and its mission is to offer the smoothest, fastest connections in the northern hemisphere via Helsinki and the best network to the world from its home markets. Finnair is the only Nordic carrier with a 4- star Skytrax ranking and a member of the one world alliance. In Russia Finnair operates the flights from five cities: Moscow, St. Petersburg, Yekaterinburg, Kazan and Samara. From April 2017 Finnair has doubled its flights between the Finnish capital and Moscow, “allowing smooth connections with flights arriving from the UK”. The new services is operated by Embraer 190 aircraft, bringing the carrier’s frequency on the route to 14 weekly flights. Finnair also codeshares with Aeroflot on the route, and offers passengers a total of four daily flights. From April the airline has added six weekly flights to its Helsinki-St Petersburg route, operated by ATR aircraft and bringing the total frequency on the route to 20 flights per week.
