Legislative Regulation of the Waste Management Sector

In order to resolve issues related to the application of the law in the sector, legislators and implementing authorities will need to work together to draw up a range of proposals. Areas of focus will include improving tariff policy, as well as the critical environmental situation, which is deteriorating in the regions, and is an issue affecting society as a whole. What are the initial outcomes of the household waste management reform? What specific issues and factors have been encountered in the Russian regions in the process of reforming the system? Could regional operators provide an effective solution in reforming the waste disposal industry?
