The Fashion industry is one of the fastest growing sectors of the global economy, with annual turnover exceeding USD 3 trillion. The industry is undergoing a profound transformation stemming from radical changes in consumption patterns and the explosive pace at which technology and design are evolving. This has led to a constantly growing interest in the industry by investors worldwide. Moscow has been increasingly attracting leading names in fashion and design, which strengthens Russia’s potential of becoming a global fashion centre built on new names and young talent. The transformation of this industry has enabled the growth of a whole army of new brands and designers, who are applying new principles to their relationships with customers. Niche and sustainable fashion, personalization, responsible consumption are some of global trends that have made their way to Russia. Young designers, fresh out of fashion school, have become pioneers of the fashion industry 4.0. In 2019 the Moscow Fashion Fund was founded with an aim to reduce barriers and restrictions covering aspects ranging from local production to entering foreign markets. The Fashion Fund has brought together resources of market leaders, enabling a more effective communication on the regional and federal levels, as well as providing support for Russian talent abroad. What is the business potential of Russian designers in domestic and foreign markets? What are the key objectives of the Fashion Fund in reducing barriers and supporting growth of the fashion industry in Russia and abroad?

Aizel Trudel (born Guseinova) is the representative of the “Christian Louboutin”, “Agent Provocateur”, “L’Agent by AP” and “Laduree” brands, founder of the AIZEL Moscow boutique, co-founder of the online store AIZEL.RU and trustee of Natalia Vodyanova's Naked Heart Foundation. Aizel was born in the family of a diplomat Aidyn Guseinov on March 7, 1977; in 2000 she graduated from the journalism faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) specializing in public relations. Aizel is married to the architect Louis Trudel, the head of TTMG, an international design company. She is the mother of two children. Professional activities 1998-2002 – Head of the Public Relations department in Russkoe Zoloto, where she represented Thierry Mugler, Christian Lacroix, Herve Leger, Donna Karan and other brands. 2002-2003 – commercial director of the Plaza group of companies. 2002 – launching her first independent project Aizel’s Secret in Crocus City Mall. 2003 – commercial director of the Nautilus Shopping Mall.2003 – launching the multi-brand boutique AIZEL Moscow, which first offered to its Moscow clients the collections from such fashion designers as Azeddine Alaia, Marc Jacobs, Stella McCartney, Peter Pilotto, Rodarte, Michael Kors, Oscar de la Renta, Emilio Pucci, Jimmy Choo, Erdem, Delpozo, etc. 2004 – opening the first boutique of Agent Provocateur. 2006 – opening one of the first Christian Louboutin boutiques. 2007 – opening the first boutique of Diane von Furstenberg. 2011 – launching the online store AIZEL.RU. 2012 – launching the online store AgentProvocateur.ru 2013 – Aizel became a trustee of Natalia Vodyanova's Naked Heart foundation. 2014 – opening the first boutique of L’Agent by Agent Provocateur. 2014 – Aizel became the representative of Laduree, a famous French luxury bakery and sweets maker. 2015 - Aizel became the representative of Charlotte Olympia.2016 - opening the first Laduree boutique in Moscow.2016 - opening the first boutique of Charlotte Olympia.2016 – launching the online store LAgentbyAp.ru

Alexey was born on December 1, 1974.
In 1997 he graduated from the State University of Land Management in Moscow.
From 1997 to 2001, he studied at The Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA).
From 1997 to 1998, he worked as a junior specialist in the department of federal lands of the Department of Land Relations Reform of the State Committee of the Russian Federation on Land Resources and Land Management.
In 1998, he moved to the position of chief specialist of the federal lands department of the Land Policy Department of the Ministry of the Russian Federation on land policy, construction, and housing and communal services.
From December 1998 to August 2000 he served as chief specialist of the department of federal lands of the Office of State and Municipal Lands, was an advisor, deputy head of the Department of State Lands of the State Committee of the Russian Federation on Land Policy.
In 2000, he moved to the position of Head of the Legislative Work Division of the Land Reform Administration, worked as Deputy Head of the Land Reform Administration. Until 2004, he worked as the head of the legislative work and regulatory support section of the Land Policy Department of the Ministry of Property Relations of the Russian Federation.
In 2004, he was appointed Deputy Head of the Office of Real and Movable Property of the Federal Agency for the Management of Federal Property and worked in this position until 2007.
From 2007 to 2008, he worked as Deputy General Director for the separation of state ownership of land and regional development in the Directorate of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise "Federal Computer Center for Stock and Commodity Information Technologies (FT-Center)"
In 2008, he moved to the position of head of the Department of Land Resources and Real Estate. Until October 2015, he held the position of First Deputy General Director of the Federal Housing Development Foundation (“RHD FUND”).
In September 2016, he was appointed First Deputy Head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow.
In February 2017, Alexey Fursin was appointed Head of the Department of Science, Industrial Policy and Entrepreneurship of Moscow.
On September 21, 2018, he was appointed Head of the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovation Development of Moscow.

Alexander Shumskiy

Alexander Shumsky was born on March 3, 1971. In the 90s, after the Moscow State University worked in federal and Moscow media. In 1995 he founded one of the first PR agencies in Russia - Artefact Communications. In 2000, the agency began to produce seasonal series of fashion shows in Moscow, which subsequently outgrew to the Russian Fashion Week. By the mid-2000s, the fashion week was held twice a year in specially built tents on the Red Square. In 2011, the fashion week signed an title sponsorship agreement with Mercedes-Benz, in the same year, Artefact launched MB Fashion Day in St. Petersburg. Since 2013 Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia is held under the patronage of the Russian Fashion Council. In 2016, Alexander Shumsky created the concept of a reboot of the Russian fashion industry under the title FashionNet in the framework of the National Technological Initiative of the ASI. The FashionNet working group, co-headed by Alexander Shumsky, developed the concept of a road map, which was presented at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in 2017. Russian Fashion Council annually holds one of the most representative world fashion forums - the Fashion Futurum international conference in Moscow, as well as the fashion tech events such as Fashion Startup Show, Fashion Haсkaton, Fashion Business Accelerator and others.
