ROSCONGRESS SPIEF RACE 2019
St. Isaac’s Square, St. Petersburg
This morning race will be a unique opportunity to see the iconic sights of St. Petersburg in an exclusive setting.
The first SPIEF RACE was held in 2016. About 300 people took part, including Dmitry Peskov, Press Secretary of the President of the Russian Federation, Herman Gref, CEO of Sberbank, Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, and Tina Kandelaki, TV presenter.
The 5 km route will start at St. Isaac’s Square and pass through the historical centre of St. Petersburg. Forum participants, accredited journalists and members of the World Class club are invited to the starting line.
A starting point will be organized for race participants, where registration will begin at 05:50, and then, at 07:00, the race will start. At the end of the competition there will be an awards ceremony for the winners, who will receive special prizes from the event organizers.

ROSCONGRESS CUP. Chess tournament
Passage, between halls F and G
The World Chess Federation (FIDE) will hold a chess tournament, in which world chess champion Vladimir Kramnik and prominent Russian politicians will take part, at the joint space managed by VEB.RF and the Russia Extends development institutes (Passage, between halls F and G).
During the tournament, Forum participants will have the unique opportunity to try their hand by playing chess with a world champion.
Begins at 13.00. Free admission.

Roscongress Kalashnikov Cup. Sporting and practical shooting tournament
Nevsky Sports and Shooting Club, 88, Pionerskaya Ulitsa, Poselok Pesochny, St. Petersburg
This tournament is a unique opportunity to learn about the Kalashnikov Group’s line of weapons and spend some quality time outdoors.
This recreational shooting programme will afford guests an opportunity to fire pistols, submachine guns, machine guns, and automatic and sniper rifles.
Kalashnikov Group experts, joined by Russian Merited Master of Sport, International Class, two-time World Champion, and repeat Russian Champion in Practical Shooting Vsevolod Ilyin, will lead the tournament programme.
Kalashnikov experts will introduce the rules of firearms handling and invite you to participate in a mini accuracy and speed-shooting tournament.
A gala dinner and awards ceremony will conclude the tournament.
Please note that Kalashnikov Group asks you to handle weapons responsibly. Kindly refrain from consuming alcohol until the end of the shooting programme.

ROSCONGRESS CUP. Gala hockey match
The Tavrichesky Garden multifunctional entertainment complex (4A, Potemkinskaya Ulitsa)
Gala hockey matches have become a sports traditions of economic forums. Representatives of the political and business elite will take the ice in St. Petersburg. All participants in the match will receive commemorative medals, but the main reward for them will be vivid emotions and an energy boost for the Forum’s business programme.

Russia–Bulgaria. Match of the 31st International Youth Football Tournament in memory of FIFA First Vice President Valentin Granatkin among junior teams (players born in 2001)
Petrovsky Stadium, St. Petersburg
The International Youth Football Tournament among junior teams in memory of FIFA First Vice President Valentin Granatkin was first held in 1981 in Moscow, but moved to St. Petersburg (Leningrad) in 1983 and has become firmly entrenched there. This year, twelve junior national teams with players born in 2001 will compete in the traditional junior competitions, including the Russian junior national team, which is currently preparing for the first qualifying round of the 2020 U-19 European Championship (13–19 November, Wales). The team, which is led by Alexander Kerzhakov, the top scorer in the history of FC Zenit St. Petersburg and the Russian national team, will play with Bulgaria in the second round of the Granatkin Memorial group stage on 6 June. The Russian team will also play India and Moldova in its quest to punch a ticket to the playoffs.
The game against the Bulgarians will take place at the legendary Petrovsky Stadium, which opened way back in 1925. Current Russian champion FC Zenit previously played its home games at this stadium, which is located on Petrovsky Island. The Russian national team has also played numerous matches at Petrovsky.
