Russia House in Davos

In Switzerland’s Davos, which hosted the World Economic Forum on 22–26 January 2018, the Roscongress Foundation ran the Russia House project – a business space and a meeting point for business leaders, eminent politicians and economists, academics and artists.

The project’s partners included AO Agency for Housing Mortgage Lending, AO ER-Telecom Holding, V-Tell, the Government of Moscow, the Moscow City Department for External Economic and International Relations, EY and Universa.

Russia House is the official Russian residence in Davos. The main goal of Russia House in Davos was to demonstrate Russia’s openness to dialogue and cooperation for the sake of common business success.

Besides Arkady Dvorkovich, head of Russian government delegation, participants in this year’s business programme included Energy Minister Alexander Novak, Economic Development Minister Maxim Oreshkin, and Telecom and Communications Minister Nikolay Nikiforov. International heads of state and government as well as government officials from various countries visited Russia House.

“Russia House was a hub for Russian and international business elites, government officials, entrepreneurs, academics, and opinion leaders. The doors of Russia House were open not only to anyone interested in its extensive business programme but also to those wishing to get to know our country, our culture, and our traditions of hospitality. The project received a lot of positive feedback and high marks for organization from Russian and international visitors. I am confident that this venue has an immense potential and a bright future,”
Russian Presidential Advisor Anton Kobyakov said.
