Technologies of the Future: When They’re Needed, It’s Already Too Late
Science is currently on the verge of new achievements that will shape the technological image of the future: nanobiotechnology, genome and gene engineering, molecular robotics, quantum and neuromorphic computers, big data technologies, self-driving vehicles and much, much more. Further advances in any of these areas will bring about revolutionary changes in industry and quality of life, a fact understood by both nation states and major companies investing tens of billions of dollars each year in the development of new “emerging” technologies.
