Futurists have estimated that self-driving cars will fill the roads by 2033, something that seemed like an impossible fantasy only a few years ago. Initial projects to launch autonomous taxis are already underway in Russia, with further plans for long-haul freight transportation, maritime navigation, and passenger rail transport. At the same time, the digital transformation has made its presence felt across passenger and freight logistics, from workflow to the possibility of ordering deliveries and booking trips in a single click. Active development in these areas is being supported through projects led by the Russian Ministry of Transport and top companies, as part of a broader strategy to transform the entire transport industry, from quick wins to the pursuit of long-term national goals. Which strategic areas of development in Russia’s transport sector will transform logistics in 2021, and what will the picture look like in 2024 and even 2030? What are the projects that will elevate Russia to a position of global leadership in the introduction of cutting-edge technologies to all modes of transport? When will passenger journeys and freight deliveries become completely seamless? Alexey Kalitsev was born in Moscow in 1977. In 2000 he graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Lomonosov Moscow State University, received a PhD degree in Economic sciences. Alexey Kalitsev has been working in the automotive industry since 2000. From 2010 to 2015 he was Sales Director of Hyundai Motor CIS, from 2015 to 2017 — Executive Director of Hyundai Motor CIS. In August 2017, Alexey Kalitsev was appointed Managing Director of Hyundai Motor CIS responsible for development strategy of Hyundai and Genesis brands in Russia.
During the years of work at Hyundai Motor CIS Alexey Kalitsev made a significant contribution to the strengthening positions of the Hyundai brand on the Russian market, significantly expanded the dealer network and successfully launched a new premium Genesis brand in Russia.

Igor Milashevsky has been CEO of JSC GLONASS since July of 2018.
He is graduate of the Kiev Radio Engineering Higher School and postgraduate of the Ministry of Defense, PhD in Technical Sciences. He also graduated the Higher Business School of the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations of Russia – IEMI (European Institute of International Management, Paris), where he got an MBA diploma.
He worked as Advisor to the Minister of Communications and Mass Media of the Russian Federation, headed the Department of State Policy for Information Technologies and Informatization Coordination of the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia. He is also ex Minister of Transport and Communications of the Chechen Republic, member of the Government of the Chechen Republic. Before that, he worked as director of operations development service, commercial director, vice president for marketing and sales at VimpelCom JSC and subsidiaries of VimpelCom Group. He was awarded with a letter of acknowledgment by the President of the Russian Federation.

Sergey Kravchenko holds post of president of Boeing Russia/CIS since 2002, he is responsible for leading all Boeing business activities in Russia and the CIS. Kravchenko joined The Boeing Company in 1992. He directly participated in Boeing 777 and Boeing 787 Dreamliner program design, held leading positions in engineering departments in Seattle responsible for production and relations with suppliers and partners. In Russia, he led Boeing projects on participation in ISS, establishment of two Boeing joint ventures with Rostec /VSMPO, Boeing Design Center in Moscow, Boeing Flight Training Center in Skolkovo. Before Kravchenko joined Boeing in 1992, he worked as a professor and as the lead scientist of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He also taught in Moscow and worked as a research consultant in Europe, the United States and Asia. Sergey Kravchenko is one of the leading specialists in Russia on modern management of large international projects and companies. Kravchenko is a professor and holds a doctorate degree of engineering science, earned in 1990. He holds over 20 patents in various areas of engineering and has published more than 50 research papers.
