Media Education as a Dominant Factor in Shaping the Value System of Modern Society

17 Jun , 12:00–13:15
International Youth Economic Forum
Congress Centre, zone B, 2nd floor, conference hall B3

Today's media schools face new tasks and challenges, including the transformation of the entire system of media education. The development of a country is closely linked to providing its citizens with information about current events, as well as the availability of official content in mass media, films, games, and animation. One of the main challenges of state information policy is the coordinated formation of patriotic content. How can we ensure that the new generation is embedded in the purpose and value system of the state? How do modern media technologies contribute to the shaping of thinking and effectively transmitting the basic principles of the cultural code? How can we establish a robust socialization system that safeguards and nurtures traditional values while also achieving the strategic objectives of the state?
