On the way toward choosing their profession, young people go through many stages that, to a greater or lesser degree, influence their professional development and career trajectory. Modern career guidance tools can help them make an informed decision on the vector of their professional development. What are the main stages in the professional self-determination of young people, and why is it important that they understand this even before they choose a profession? What is available to young people in terms of career guidance and professional development, and how effective is it? How should the goals of and approaches towards career guidance work with young people change over the period to 2030?
