The world’s largest collection of Carl Fabergé and the House of Fabergé masterpieces in Shuvalov Palace of St. Petersburg.
The most famous items in the Fabergé Museum are the nine Easter Eggs created for Alexander III and Nicholas II, the last two Russian Tsars.

The Fabergé Museum collection includes Russian decorative-applied and fine arts, which today contains more than 4000 works. This collection demonstrates all mediums in which the House of Fabergé worked, including objects de fantaisie, jewellery, silverware and interior and cult objects.

The Museum of the Arctic and Antarctic is the only museum in Russia that tells about both polar regions.

The museum is located in the building of the former St. Nicholas Church of the Same Faith. The museum's exposition is presented in 3 sections: "The nature of the Arctic", "The history of exploration and development of the Northern Sea Route", "Antarctica".

The State Russian Museum presents the exhibition project entitled ‘Parallel Universes. From Abstraction to Artefact’ showing works by 36 artists of the second half of the 20th century from the collection of Natalia Opaleva, a well-known collector, founder and general director of the AZ Museum (Anatoly Zverev). Visitors of the Marble Palace will discover more than 200 paintings and graphic works by underground masters of the 1960s–1980s: Anatoly Zverev, Dmitri Plavinsky, Dmitry Krasnopevtsev, Oleg Tselkov, Lidia Masterkova, Ernst Neizvestny, Vladimir Yankilevsky, Erik Bulatov, Francisco Infante, Yury Zlotnikov, Grisha Bruskin, and many others.

The Pillar Hall of the Palace houses the exhibition by Contemporary Heritage of Russia project for the third time. The project presents works by the best contemporary artists and masters of arts and crafts, awarded diplomas by Gokhran and by the country's leading museums. Splendid embroideries, various mosaics, delicate flowers of modeled porcelain, virtuoso painting of miniaturists on enamel, stone and papier-mâché, skillful work of jewelers and many other things are bound to surprise and amaze the attendees. The works have been exhibited at Gokhran, the museums of the Moscow Kremlin, the Diamond Fund of Russia, the State Historical Museum, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Pavlovsk State Museum and other museums of the country

The exhibition showcases magnificent Oriental manuscripts. The collection of Institute of Oriental Manuscripts of the Russian Academy of Science is one of the largest in the world and the biggest in Russia, and comprises over 115,000 exhibits in 65 dead and living languages. The unique collection is housed in the sumptuous interiors of the Novo-Mikhailovsky Palace – a striking example of 19th-century palace architecture.

St. Petersburg’s Historical Park ‘Russia – My History’ (32, Basseynaya Ulitsa) opened a unique exhibition entitled ‘The Terracotta Army. China’s Immortal Warriors’.

Previously, the exhibition was a success at VDNH in Moscow, attended by more than 80,000 people.

The exhibition is based on a 20th-century archaeological sensation: the clay army of the Chinese Emperor Qin Shi Huang, who ruled in the 3rd century B.C. The Terracotta Army is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and can with good reason be considered the eighth wonder of the world.

Visitors will get to see life-size replicas of terracotta warriors and horses, chariots, weapons, everyday objects and colourful historical costumes – a total of over 150 exhibits.

Impressive special effects and video projections will immerse visitors in the mystical atmosphere of the distant past and give a real sense of the scale of the grand army.

This year will mark the sixth time that the Elena Tsvetkova Jewellery House has hosted the “Contemporary Heritage of Russia” project’s showcase of works by Russia’s finest contemporary artists and craftsmen, winners of the Gokhran of Russia award, as well as prizes from leading Russian and foreign museums. The works have been exhibited at Gokhran of Russia, the Moscow Kremlin Museums, the Diamond Fund of Russia, the State Historical Museum, the Hermitage, the Russian Museum, the Pavlovsk State Museum, and other museums across the country.

St. Petersburg Art Fair 1703 is a large-scale cultural project aimed at supporting artists and galleries of contemporary art, as well as the institute of collecting. Hosted by Gazprom and supported by St. Petersburg Committee for Culture.

More than 35 contemporary art galleries will take part in the event, bringing both established and young artists. The Manege Exhibition Hall will become a center of contemporary art created in a variety of techniques — from painting and sculpture to installations and digital art.

KGallery presents an exhibition dedicated to that amazing and obscure phenomenon of the Soviet era: music ‘samizdat’ (literally self-publishing). Along with the famous "rock 'n' roll on the ribs", a vast collection of reel-to-reel cassettes created by Soviet music lovers will be shown for the first time.
The world of samizdat as a social phenomenon existed within the realities of the Soviet era for fifty years. Music tastes and their mediums have changed, but despite prohibition and censorship, the desire to listen to music and embrace culture never changed. The illustrated vinyl covers, collaged packages of reel cassettes, posters, postcards and X-rays are an indispensable testament to this.
A programme of concerts, lectures, art breakfasts, workshops for adults and children, and themed merchandise is being prepared for the exhibition.

The Priory Palace, a unique earthwork structure built in 1798–1799 by the architect Nikolai Lvov for the Knights of the Order of St. John of Jerusalem (the Order of Malta). It is unique in its architectural design and technical implementation. The Priory Palace exhibition tells the story of the Order of Malta and its connection with the Russian Empire during the times of Emperor Paul I.

Gatchina Palace is an imperial residence closely linked to the names of Paul I and Alexander III.
In this 18th-century palace, you can see the restored staterooms that date back to times of Paul I, including the upper throne room and the state bedchamber, take a walk down the romantic underground passage, and check out the famous Gatchina echo.

The annual Sails of Kronstadt Festival will present a rich cultural and leisure programme that combines historical reconstruction, music and gastronomy in the Island of Forts cluster. This year, the Festival celebrates two important dates: the 320th anniversary of both St. Petersburg and the Baltic Fleet. The programme includes many stylistic and historical references to the aforementioned themes. The historical part of the Festival, represented by the Feast of Peter the Great project, will include numerous historical reconstructions and workshops that will introduce visitors to the history of the navy and the traditions of the Peter the Great era. Gastronomy will traditionally be the hallmark of the Festival: oyster menus, waffles, oriental dishes and sweets. The colourful Sails of Kronstadt will offer guests of all ages and interests creative, sporting and culinary master classes. From the early hours of the morning, a rich entertainment programme will light up the stage: it will cover a wide range of themes ranging from dance numbers of Peter the Great's assemblies to reenactment shows to a modern circus programme. The music section of the Festival will feature well-known international hits in creative arrangements by cover bands and electrifying DJ sets. The headliners of this year's Sails of Kronstadt will be hitmakers whose work is very familiar to the locals, the veterans of the Russian pop scene, the Diskoteka Avariya band.

Exhibition of photographs by the famous Italian journalist and documentary filmmaker Giorgio Bianchi.

The exhibition entitled “If the theatre is open, then the city is alive” from the “Donbass Stories” cycle recounts the life of the Donetsk Musical Theatre over the past few years.

Giorgio Bianchi has visited Donbass many times and taken many photographs of the lives of ordinary people in this region. Bianchi has one of the largest online audiences in Italy.

As it is being held in a private foyer, the exhibition can only be attended by visitors to the Tovstonogov Bolshoi Drama Theatre who have purchased a ticket to a performance.
