Cyclists from over ten countries together with the strongest riders of Russia will start the stage race.
It is an ambitious project of the Russian Cycling Federation and the sports platform of the Roscongress Foundation – RC Sport, carried out with the support of the Ministry of Sport.
The sports part of the cycling race is inseparably connected with the goal of showing the beauty of nature and the historical heritage of Ladoga, which will create an incredible environment for the participants.
The presentation of the stage race will take place at the stand of the Ministry of Sport with the participation of the Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Oleg Matytsin / Deputy Minister of Sport of the Russian Federation Odes Baysultanov.
The seven-day race will be held from 12 to 20 July in the Republic of Karelia and the Leningrad Region.
The event will adhere to all COVID-19 prevention measures.
The opening ceremony of the SPIEF Sport Games will be held before the start of the race. Olympic champions Alina Zagitova and Artur Dalaloyan will lead a warm-up for Forum participants and St. Petersburg residents. One of the features of the race will be a corporate competition.
For the first time, participants will be able to choose a guided tour format with informative stories about iconic venues along the course, organized with the support of Uralchem Run Factory.
The race will be organized by RC Sport, the Roscongress Foundation's sports platform, and the League of Heroes, with the support of the Russian Ministry of Sport.
The official partner of the race is Liga Stavok and the strategic partner is the fuel brand G-Drive.
The SPIEF run will be the second leg of the "Time to Act" series, which has integrated running events into some of the country's biggest forums.

In the main event, Russian kickboxing star Vladislav Tuinov will face the experienced Haofeng Tan from China. Also on the programme of the tournament is a super fight featuring Russian fighting legend Alexander Stetsurenko, whose opponent will be Maxim Spodarenko from Belarus.
"I am confident that this outstanding event will encourage people to unite around the values of fair sporting competition and mutual understanding," said Batu Khasikov, Chairman of the Supreme Supervisory Board of the Russian Kickboxing Federation.
The tournament will be attended by prominent figures from sports, public life and celebrities from SCO countries.

World Cup silver medallist Vsevolod Shumkov will lead the Leningrad side against Siberia, while another semi-finalist will be decided by Tula and Kavkaz.
Each round consists of bouts in five weight categories. The team with at least three victories advances to the next round. The tournament will conclude on 15 July with a superfinal in Orenburg.
The winner of the first Victory Cup was Kama, who beat Leningrad in the superfinal.
For the second year in a row, the Russian Boxing Federation will also have a stand at SPIEF.
Participants of these memorable events, who are now legends of Russian football, will take to the pitch of the Gazprom Arena: Andrey Arshavin, Roman Pavlyuchenko, Yuri Zhirkov, Denis Kolodin, Vyacheslav Malafeev, Igor Semshov, Roman Shirokov, Pavel Pogrebnyak, Diniyar Bilyaletdinov, Konstantin Zyryanov, Alexander Anyukov, Vladimir Bystrov, Renat Yanbayev, Roman Adamov and many others. Zenit will be led by Anatoly Davydov, while the Russian national team will be led by Alexander Borodyuk and Igor Korneev.
