The SPIEF Sport Games will open with a tournament dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War. With the support of the Roscongress Foundation, this year’s Victory Cup programme has been expanded and will include dressage and eventing alongside show jumping.

The Victory Cup brings together more than 50 stages across many regions of the country. The best riders will advance to the finals. The finals will be held on:

30 April–1 May: Dressage
7–11 May: Show Jumping
15–18 May: Eventing

Radio Monte Carlo Golf Cup
Moscow City Golf Club, 1/1, Ulitsa Dovzhenko, Moscow
As tradition dictates, golf will serve as an informal networking platform for leaders in politics, business, and sports, along with stars from the world of show business, popular influencers, and leading figures from the music and tourism industries. The tournament will take place ahead of the Forum’s main sports programme and will be held at Russia’s first-ever golf club. Separate awards will be presented in the men's and women's categories.

The event will also include public talks and business sessions, culminating in an evening concert featuring popular artists.

Ladoga Gold international multi-day cycling race
Leningrad Region, Republic of Karelia, St. Petersburg
Leaders of Russia’s national road cycling team and strong international teams will return to the roads of the Leningrad Region, the Republic of Karelia, and St. Petersburg to race for the Ladoga Gold.

This year, the international multi-day cycling race is reaching a new level. Corporate teams and amateur cycling clubs will make their debut, reflecting the growing role of cycling in corporate business culture.

As tradition holds, the race will start at the Igora Drive racetrack, followed by stages set against the natural beauty of the Leningrad Region, the historic centre of Vyborg, and the Karelian shores of Lake Ladoga. The final stage will take place around the Grebnoy Canal in St. Petersburg.

Professional cyclists will compete across seven stages. Amateurs will race in four stages and will compete for a team prize of RUB 1 million.

The Ladoga Gold race is organized by the Russian Cycling Federation and the Roscongress Foundation with the support of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation and the National Teams Training Centre of Russia.

Background Roscongress Cup in Hockey
The SPIEF ice hockey tournament is one of the Forum’s most anticipated sporting events.

This year, the Roscongress Cup will be held to mark the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War. Four teams – Politics, Business, the St. Petersburg Administration and the Champion sports and business community – will take to the ice in retro uniforms.

The tournament’s main trophy will honour Nikolai Sologubov, the legendary Soviet hockey player, Olympic champion and flag bearer for the USSR national team at the 1960 Olympic Games. During the Second World War, Sologubov was wounded four times but returned to the front after each injury. After the war, he became one of the leading defenders among the first generation of Soviet hockey players who won Olympic gold in 1956.

A win at this year’s Roscongress Cup will be even more prestigious. The Business and Politics teams each hold one title at the moment. This year, one of them could pull ahead, or a third team could join them. Either way, it promises to be an exciting contest.

Chess evening
The Professor Freud private club, 18, Malaya Morskaya Ulitsa
On the eve of SPIEF, participants will face off across the chessboard in the intimate setting of the Professor Freud private club.

The traditional tournament will bring together entrepreneurs, politicians, and company executives. Prizes will be awarded in two categories: experienced and amateur.

The competition will follow a seven-round Swiss system, with a time control of five minutes plus a three-second increment per move.

The tournament is organized by RC-Sport, the Roscongress Foundation’s sports platform, the St. Petersburg Chess Sports Federation, and the Professor Freud private club.

The Evening League Table Tennis Tournament

The Evening League table tennis tournament will bring together prominent politicians, business leaders, and athletes.

Participants will prove that even with a packed schedule, there is always time for a favourite sport.

The SPIEF matches will be played in doubles format.

Champion Sports and Business Awards

Sports legends will once again honour business leaders for their support of the sports industry. The Champion Sports and Business Awards ceremony has already become one of the most beautiful evening events of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum.

The Champion Awards was created to highlight the role of business in the development of sport, encourage investment in the sports sector, and strengthen ties between sport and business. It is also intended to showcase the beauty of St. Petersburg and the cultural identity of Russia.

This year, the ceremony will take place in the courtyard of Mikhailovsky Castle, following previous events at the Yusupov Palace and the former St. Petersburg Commercial Bank building. The creative concept is inspired by the works of the renowned theatrical artist Léon Bakst and the victories of Russian sport.

Over the years, awards have been presented by celebrated athletes such as Aleksandr Karelin, Vladimir Salnikov, Elena Vyalbe, Nikita Nagorny, Alina Zagitova, and others. This year’s line-up promises to be equally impressive.

The ‘Fight and Win’ race

The traditional run on the opening day of SPIEF will take place this year under the slogan Fight and Win, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Second World War.

SPIEF participants, along with residents and guests of the city, will once again experience one of the most beautiful race routes in the world. The five-kilometre course will start at St. Isaac’s Cathedral and pass some of St. Petersburg’s most iconic landmarks: the magnificent Winter Palace, the elegant Marble Palace, the historic Field of Mars, the striking Church of the Saviour on Spilled Blood, and the lively Nevsky Prospekt.

Aesthetic pleasure and an energizing start to SPIEF’s business programme are guaranteed for all participants.

White Nights gala cycling show
Lokosphinx Velodrome, 12, Severnaya Doroga
Track Cycling Champions League winner Alina Lysenko, together with Anastasia Voynova and Daria Shmeleva, who won medals at the Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo Olympics, will showcase the speed of track cycling at SPIEF.

Around 100 athletes from Russia, China, Iran, the UAE, Belarus, and Kazakhstan will take part in the races.

Spectators can also look forward to a spectacular 3D light show and concert programme.

The gala show is organized by the National Association of Cycling Enthusiasts and Veterans.

Blazing speed, lightning-fast reflexes, and a fiercely competitive atmosphere await participants in the Roscongress Squash Cup.

This traditional SPIEF tournament has given a strong boost to the development of corporate leagues in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and the level of competition continues to grow every year. At the same time, thanks to its simple rules, squash remains accessible to newcomers.

The Roscongress Cup will be held in a team format.

The tournament is organized by the Russian Squash Federation with support from RC-Sport, the Roscongress Foundation’s sports platform.

It has become a tradition for SPIEF participants to start the final day of the Forum with a morning paddleboarding session.

The sporting trip along the Kryukov Canal and the Moyka River offers unique views of the Mariinsky Theatre, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, and the Yusupov Palace from the water.

After the paddle, informal networking continues over a business breakfast.

The SUP Breakfast is organized by Shkulev Holding.

Roscongress Golf Cup

One of the key business golf tournaments will be held as part of SPIEF, continuing the tradition.

Forum participants will have the opportunity to compete in a team format and discuss the outcomes of the business programme.

Guests can also look forward to an excellent outdoor programme, live music, golf lessons from members of the Russian national team, and a beginners’ tournament on the championship course.

The evening will conclude with a gala dinner and performances by popular artists.

The Roscongress White Nights Tennis Cup

As tradition dictates, Forum participants will wrap up the business programme on the tennis court.

The Roscongress White Nights Cup is now entering its fourth decade. Political and business leaders will face off in thrilling matches, all in the relaxed atmosphere of a garden party by the scenic Lake Razliv, with live music and new acquaintances.

The tournament will be played in a doubles format over two stages: a round-robin stage followed by semifinals and finals.

Participation is by prior registration only.

Sails of Kronstadt Festival
Island of Forts Museum and Historical Park, Kronstadt
This music, sport, and gastronomy festival will blend athletic competition with history. A highlight on the water will be the Peter the Great Historical Relay, taking participants back to the era of Peter’s great reforms.

After an introductory sail and a yacht-handling briefing led by captain-instructors, teams will tackle a series of challenges inspired by the lifestyle and traditions of the early 18th century.

Participants will test their skills in a tug-of-war based on Peter the Great’s military exercises, a relay race with naval training elements, a cannon-pulling contest, and tasks such as Set Sail, Capture the Fortress, and The Gangut Manoeuvre.

Each station will be decorated in period style with actors in Peter the Great-era costumes.

The relay can be completed either as a team or individually. Every participant will have the chance to prove themselves in a range of historical disciplines. Winners will receive a mark on the festival’s quest map.

The Vedomosti Business Regatta
The Smolenka Yachting Port, 18, Prospekt Kruzenshterna, the Morskoy municipal district
Sailing regattas bring together corporate teams from a wide range of industries.

As part of SPIEF, the first stage of the Vedomosti Business Regatta will take place at the newly opened Smolenka Yacht Port, located at the PROyachting Yacht Club on the Gulf of Finland.

Teams will compete in races using J/70 class yachts.

Anyone, regardless of their level of experience, can take part and navigate a challenging course under the guidance of experienced skippers.

The onshore programme will be held at the Sea Forest restaurant.
