Representatives of BRICS Countries to Continue Work at Russia’s Biggest Business Events
At the BRICS Business Forum in Brazil’s capital, Russian President Vladimir Putin invited participants to continue their work at the BRICS summit in St. Petersburg in July 2020. He also invited official representatives and business leaders of BRICS member countries to attend major business forums in Russia, including the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, scheduled for 3–6 June 2020, and the Eastern Economic Forum 2–5 September 2020 in Vladivostok.

Scientific journal on the outcomes of SPIEF 2019 is published
A special edition of Izvestia SPbGEU based on the outcomes of public discussions that took place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2019 has been compiled with the support of the Roscongress Foundation. The volume is largely devoted to scientific articles offering a summary and theoretical interpretation of the outcomes of discussions that took place at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2019. Issues at the focus of discussions included the development of human capital, energy, the digital economy, legal support, the investment climate, technology, and developing the tourism sector.

In Moscow, a meeting was held of the Organizing Committee responsible for preparing and holding the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) in 2020. The meeting was chaired by Konstantin Chuychenko, Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation – Chief of the Government Staff.

The XII Eurasian Economic Forum in Verona, organized by the Roscongress Foundation, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum and the Italian non-profit Conoscere Eurasia Association, has come to an end. The event was attended by more than 1,200 people from 41 countries including Italy, Russia, Austria, Vietnam, Germany, Israel, Portugal, USA, Turkey, France and others.

Verona Discusses Global Crisis and Consequences of Widening Social Inequality
A joint Civic Chamber of the Russian Federation and Roscongress Innosocium Foundation social platform session entitled “Social inequality is one of the causes of the current global crisis” took place in Verona as part of the XII Eurasian Economic Forum. The Forum was organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Italian Know Eurasia Association Non-Profit Organization. The session’s global theme encompasses the interests of all parts of modern life, affects representatives of the business community and social, scientific, and cultural institutions alike.
