Invest India planning to take part in EEF-2017

Investment Promotion and Facilitation Agency Invest India will take part in the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok on 6–7 September as part of a representative Indian delegation.

Invest India will be key to attracting Russian investment to India given the desire of New Delhi and Moscow to strengthen their bilateral economic partnership. In particular, the agency will open a special Russian department that will handle work with Russian investors and provide them with comprehensive support based on a decision by the Indian authorities.

The Roscongress Foundation and Invest India signed a memorandum on cooperation on the sidelines of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum on June 1, 2017. The parties agreed to develop bilateral cooperation in such areas as trade, attracting investment as well as information and strategic support. The document seeks to expand opportunities for direct investment and assistance to companies in realizing these opportunities.
