As part of SPIEF’s business programme, the Social Platform of the Roscongress Foundation is to hold an inter-organizational dialogue on social topics

As part of the SPIEF 2023 business programme, the Innosocium Foundation, the Social Platform of the Roscongress Foundation, is to hold several discussions and sessions focused on crucial aspects of Russia’s socioeconomic development, on bolstering sustainable partnership between the state, business and the non-profit sector, on using non-profits’ potential and support in an anthropocentric format. Representatives of government agencies, businesspeople and members of 40 big non-profits will discuss successful examples of inter-sectoral social partnerships formed in response to the challenges of recent years.

“The agenda proposed by the Social Platform of the Roscongress Foundation will focus on a balanced approach to establishing the conditions for fully-fledged development of every member of society. It is the path of optimizing resources and inter-sectoral partnerships in implementing social initiatives. Collaboration between public officials, the corporate world and the non-profit community produces a synergetic effect for society at large”, emphasized Anton Kobyakov, an advisor to the Russian president and executive secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.

“Cultural projects implemented by non-profits throughout Russia create the public infrastructure, make life more interesting, provide opportunities for self-fulfillment and become growth points for people in various localities. Non-profits have always run such projects and the objective of the Presidential Foundation of Cultural Initiatives is to assist in bringing new ideas to reality. The third sector is an extremely powerful cultural force, which is precisely why it is so important to support non-profits’ cultural projects. Non-profits need to pique the interest of businesses and cultural institutions in cooperating with them. So every non-profit needs professionals who understand the essence of current cultural processes.  Project work allows such teams to be formed”, says Roman Karmanov, General Director of the Presidential Foundation of Cultural Initiatives.

“The Prosperous Man – the Primary Objective of Social Policy and a Key Resource for the Country’s Development” session will be held on 15 June. It will be moderated by Alexey Komissarov, acting Rector of RANEPA. Galina Karelova, Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council; Natalya Komarova, Governor of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area; Olga Batalina, Senior Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Security; Svetlana Chupsheva, General Director of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives; heads of state corporations, charities and academic institutions are among those invited to attend.

The “Social Partnerships as a New Competitive Advantage” session will be held on 16 June. It will be moderated by Ilya Doronov, Executive Director of RBC TV. Maxim Reshetnikov, Russia’s Minister for Economic Development; Anton Dolgov, Deputy General Director of the Presidential Grant Fund; Mikhail Degtyaryov, Governor of the Khabarovsk Region; heads of big industrial companies and charities are among those invited to attend.

The booth of the Roscongress Foundation’s Social Platform will feature discussions “#PEER-TO-PEER: What is the best way to create an inclusive society?”, “Mentoring: the theme of the year, or how to preserve the trend of sharing experience” and “Equestrian Sport. The Art of Being Close”. Those invited include heads of committees of the State Duma of the Russian Federation’s Federal Assembly, of charitable foundations, sports federations and people-centered non-profits.

17 June, the final day of SPIEF 2023, will be NCO day at SPIEF: results and plans for the future. Heads of non-profits that make successful use of Presidential grants to implement social projects will discuss networking practices, development dynamics of social projects, and suggestions for formats and mechanisms for public project leader participation in the partnership projects of the Presidential Grant Fund and the Innosocium Foundation.

The Social Platform of the Roscongress Foundation and businesspeople, members of non-profits and government officials hold systemic, large-scale discussions of crucial social development issues.

The programme is partnered with VK, the event’s main social network and streaming service.
