Roscongress Delegation Visited Saudi Arabia
Riyadh hosted a series of meetings between Alexey Valkov, Director of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, and businessmen from Saudi Arabia.
The key topic was the forthcoming 26th St. Petersburg Forum and the opportunities it offers for expanding business cooperation and increasing mutual investments in the economies of both countries. Participants discussed prospects for such sectors as real estate, medicine, technology, energy, tourism, manufacturing, and finance.
“Relations between our countries are developing dynamically in a number of areas, and the Saudis have been active participants in SPIEF for many years. In 2018, their delegation was one of the most impressive in the history of the Forum. The purpose of SPIEF, as a platform for dialogue between the parties, is to help build strategic plans for mutually beneficial business development. This year we will again bring together key players to discuss global and economic changes and explore new prospects and opportunities,” noted Alexey Valkov.
Director of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum invited representatives of Saudi businesses to visit one of the world’s most important business events, to be held from 14 to 17 June in St. Petersburg this year, as well as other events of the Roscongress Foundation – Russian Energy Week, Eastern Economic Forum and Falcon Day international forum, which will be held in Russia for the first time.
