Roscongress Foundation wins EFEA Awards in two categories
The annual international independent EFEA Awards have been presented to event organizers as part of the 8th Eurasian Event Forum in St. Petersburg. The Roscongress Foundation won the award in the category ‘Organizer of the Year’ for the second year in a row. The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum won the category ‘Project of the Year’.
The winners were selected according to a rating compiled based on the number of references in the Russian media to forums, exhibitions, congresses, festivals, event organizers, and event venues.
The EFEA Awards, which are unofficially referred to as the ‘Oscar of the Meetings Industry’ by market participants and professional media, were established in 2015 and held for the fifth time. The awards are presented to companies and projects at the national and regional levels in the categories ‘Project of the Year’, ‘Organizer of the Year’, ‘Discovery of the Year’, ‘Venue of the Year’, and ‘Event of the Year’. Special prizes and certificates are awarded to leading companies and industry professionals working in Russia as well as the best events of the year.
Other winners of the EFEA Awards include: the Exhibition of Achievements of National Economy (VDNH), ITE Group, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum SPIEF, Expocentre, and the ‘Circle of Light’ Festival.
