II Russian-Austrian Economic Dialogue to Be Held in Vienna

Vienna will host the II Russian-Austrian Economic Dialogue ‘Austria as a Bridge between Europe and Eurasia’ on 25 April. The Roscongress Foundation and the Conoscere Eurasia association are organizing the dialogue.

The dialogue participants will discuss such aspects of bilateral economic cooperation as the digitalization of the economy and management systems, the development of urban centres, and cooperation with Austria as a link between the Eurasian Economic Community (EurAsEC) and the EU.

“Developing a dialogue and cooperation between countries of the Eurasian space drives the creation of a common development space in the economic, industrial, and social spheres. International business events enable business, government structures, and public organizations to come up with optimal methods of collaboration in order to implement joint projects and strengthen trade and economic ties between countries. I am confident that holding the second Russian-Austrian Economic Dialogue in Austria, the business heart of Europe, will make it possible to bring all the parties that are interested in developing comprehensive cooperation between Europe and Eurasia together in one place”, Adviser to the Russian President Anton Kobyakov said.

This is not the first event organized by Conoscere Eurasia and the Roscongress Foundation to promote an informal dialogue on economic, trade, and integration issues between the main stakeholders in the Eurasian space. The XII Eurasian Economic Forum will take place in Verona on 24–25 October. As per tradition, the event will be attended by ministers of the Eurasian Economic Commission, representatives of the European Commission, political and public figures, governors, ambassadors, heads of key corporations of the participating countries, experts, and media representatives.
