Participation in SPIEF 2022 Confirmed by Representatives of 115 Countries and Territories
“Two weeks before the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, 115 countries and territories, including Russia, have confirmed they will be participating. This does, of course, show that, over its quarter of a century, SPIEF has become a popular world business platform for synchronizing watches on international problems and establishing cooperation links in the rapidly changing situation in the world. The Forum is a tool for elaborating progressive solutions for economic and social development, as well as for communications between society and the authorities, determining the rate and depth of the transformations taking part in the country in consideration of the national development goals under the conditions of global geopolitical change. In addition, the Forum is a top-level event of profound interest, of particular significance for the country’s development and affecting establishment and maintenance of relations with foreign partners on a pragmatic basis and in accordance with the principles of a multipolar world. The eventful SPIEF business programme will acquaint participants with new opportunities and significant prospects for international cooperation that are not yet obvious to some western players in business processes,” stressed Anton Kobyakov, Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation, Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee.
As of 1 June 2022, over 2,700 representatives of business, including more than 1,000 CEOs, had confirmed they would be participating in the Forum. Representatives of all the Russian regions have confirmed they would be personally present.
Traditionally, at SPIEF, mechanisms are elaborated for the state’s strategic development in collaboration with development institutes, the country’s regions, NPOs, public associations, the Media and youth organizations.
The 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum is to be held on 15–18 June 2022.
