A new Roscongress project, the Urban Hub, to be launched on the sidelines of SPIEF
The Roscongress Foundation is to launch an international discussion platform dedicated to the development of research and business cooperation in the field of urbanism. This international partnership is founded on the principles of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the UN's New Urban Agenda. The platform aims to serve as an intellectual hub for pioneering ideas in urban economics.
During the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, the project's lounge will bring together major developers, system integrators and esteemed industry experts. Market leaders will engage in discussions regarding significant trends in housing and creating a comfortable environment, the potential of AI and VR/AR in construction, new design technologies in development, and much more.
"The urban economy has traditionally been one of the highlights in the multilateral international discussions at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Housing construction and the creation of a comfortable living environment are undeniably crucial elements in Russia's economic development. The new discussion platform will facilitate systematic interaction among the Forum's stakeholders, enabling them to address these issues effectively," said Alexander Stuglev, Chairman of the Board and CEO of the Roscongress Foundation.
The focus of Roscongress Urban Hub will be mayors and regional heads of cities who will present their strategic decisions and plans to the audience. A vivid subject of discussion will be the futuristic concept of the "Quantum City", taking into account the potential implementation of quantum computing and communication technologies that are currently being developed.
Participation in the project's discussion and exhibition space will allow partners and subject matter experts to showcase their leading role in the field of modern urban development and the economy. The intellectual hub's findings will be used to compile a distinct analytical report, encompassing key concepts and solutions. In addition, the project's platform will continue its work on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum and other major multilateral events hosted by the Roscongress Foundation.
