Volunteers recruited for St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023

Roscongress, together with the Association of Volunteer Centres, announced the start of recruitment of out-of-town volunteers for the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2023. The recruitment will take place as part of the Mobility Programme. Volunteer applications can be submitted until the end of February.

The 60 volunteers selected under the Mobility Programme will be helping organize the Forum from 7 to 18 June 2023. They will prepare the venue for the event, accompany Forum delegates and media representatives, work at the thematic stands, and more.

Volunteers must meet the following requirements:

- the candidate must be at least 18 years old (at the time of application);

- must be citizens of the Russian Federation;

- possess English language proficiency at the upper-intermediate (B2) level or higher;

- register an application for the event as a volunteer at congress.ru;

- have volunteer experience, confirmed by the DOBRO.RU platform or revealed during the interview;

- complete the online course: Event Volunteering. Basic Level.

Volunteer applications that do not meet the above requirements will not participate in the next stages of the selection process. Eligible candidates will undergo an online personality test, as well as English language skills test. Additionally, there will be a personal interview, held partly in English, and an interview with the Forum Organizing Committee.

Candidates who successfully pass all stages of the selection process will be provided with meals, accommodation and travel to and from the event venue.

St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) is one of the largest business events in the world. SPIEF has been held for 26 years, and since 2006 it has been held under the auspices and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. The Forum brings the business community together to discuss Russian and global economic issues. In 2022, more than 14,000 people from 130 countries took part in SPIEF, including heads of state, CEOs of major companies and key industry experts.
