SPIEF panel sessions in India: prospects for bilateral cooperation

On January 30, two sessions of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, jointly organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Times of India media group, will take place in New Delhi, India.
As part of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum’s programme of events abroad, a regional session of SPIEF in India, jointly organized by the Roscongress Foundation and the Times of India media group, will take place in New Delhi, India, on January 30, 2016, at the Economic Times Global Business Summit.
The SPIEF panel session, entitled “Fulfilling the Indian-Russian economic promise”, will focus on aspects of the development of bilateral relations between Russia and India. With a strong and growing foundation built around cooperation in energy, defence, chemicals and mining, there is an opportunity to expand Indian-Russian economic ties further in various sectors. What steps should policymakers, business executives and entrepreneurs take to foster deeper bilateral trade and investment?;
