SPIEF 2025 now more accessible for SMEs
St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2025 promises to become even more accessible to representatives of small and medium-sized businesses and open up new opportunities for growth, international cooperation, and innovation. Today’s entrepreneurs need a place to interact with their peers and tools for development, both of which can be found at SPIEF 2025.
Small and medium-sized enterprises are being forced to deal with significant challenges, even as they come face to face with new legislative initiatives in the form of a tourist tax and a levy on online advertising. What is the best way to adapt to these changes? Does support exist and where? The answers to these questions are waiting for entrepreneurs at the Day of International SME Cooperation, a unique platform with concrete solutions, tools, and support mechanisms for sustainable growth.
Unprecedented opportunity awaits the representatives of SMEs this year, who, in addition to the Russian SME Forum, which will once again bring together market leaders, government officials, and development institutions, will also be treated to a variety of specialized thematic platforms. Experts will join entrepreneurs for a discussion of the important trends and challenges at play in various industries: the development of the wine industry, product quality, and market trends in VinoGrad; sustainable urban development and the city of the future in the Roscongress Urban Hub; healthcare, quality of life, and innovative medical solutions in the Healthy Life Area; industry trends and the achievements of Russian designers at the Russian Design Space; significant public initiatives in the Roscongress Foundation Social Platform; and technological entrepreneurship and the outlook for startups in the Innovation Space.
“The Day of International SME Cooperation will provide us with the opportunity to discuss real problems small and medium-sized businesses have to deal with. The big economic challenges facing SMEs at present include a lack of qualified personnel, a high tax burden, growing non-tax payments, difficulties with financing, and the demand for digitalization. At the same time, SMEs are the economy’s most flexible segment, capable of generating demand domestically and filling niches that big business is unable to fill quickly, or in some cases, at all. So SMEs are helping us deal with the so-called coping economy in important ways. And SPIEF is the place where we can come together to find solutions and strategies to ensure businesses continue to grow in changing economic environment, thereby stimulating domestic consumption,” Adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.
Entrepreneurs participating in the Day of International SME Cooperation gain invaluable opportunities to make new connections and network along with access to the interactive ‘SME Cooperation’ platform where they can make contact for future collaboration with major companies and government agencies.
The cost of participation for individual entrepreneurs and freelancers is RUB 25,000 (including VAT). The price for representatives of Russian and international SMEs is RUB 66,000 (including VAT), which includes access to all key Forum sessions and business areas.
To participate, fill out a business card in the SME Cooperation section in the Roscongress personal account on the official SPIEF website.
