Representatives of 69 Countries and Territories Have Confirmed They Will Attend SPIEF 2022

Invitations to the 25th anniversary of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum have been sent out to representatives of more than 190 countries this year.

As models of interaction between countries are transforming, it is more important than ever to preserve and expand the number of international partners because cooperation with them is taking on a radically different meaning in terms of establishing effective communication between expert communities, businesses, and political circles, including the development of common communication platforms at the international level and the establishment of new long-term partnerships between representatives of business communities.

Mutually beneficial partnerships make an important contribution to the agenda of top-level business events. Today, the Roscongress Foundation’s regional partners include 166 foreign economic organizations in 76 countries, including business associations, development institutions, chambers of commerce, business councils, financial organizations, and many others.

“The SPIEF annually hosts representatives from more than 140 countries and is above all an effective platform for a productive dialogue. This year will be no exception since the trends with confirmation about attending the Forum today are fully comparable with those of last year. I am certain that the SPIEF will fully showcase new opportunities in the new world since each year it brings together large companies and state corporations, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, cultural institutions, talented young people and NPOs, in addition to government bodies, and they all share a space of trust within which they find common ground,” said Anton Kobyakov, adviser to the President of the Russian Federation and executive secretary of the SPIEF Committee.

Representatives from the following 69 countries and territories have already confirmed they will attend the SPIEF 2022 events: Australia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Bangladesh, Belgium, Belize, Benin, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Canada, Central African Republic, China, Colombia, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Ghana, Greece, Hong Kong (China), Hungary, India, Iran, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Mauritania, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Morocco, Namibia, Netherlands, Nigeria, Norway, Palestine, Qatar, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Cyprus, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Sierra Leone, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Thailand, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom, the United States, Ukraine, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, and Yemen.
