Roscongress Foundation to present best projects from Future Technologies Forum and Young Scientists Congress at SPIEF Innovation Space
The best projects and practices of the Future Technologies Forum, which kicked off at the World Trade Centre on 20 February, and the Young Scientists Congress, held at the Sirius Federal Territory last November, will be on display at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum Innovation Space in June 2025.
The nearly 1,000-square-metre Innovation Space was one of SPIEF 2024’s biggest and most popular venues and hosted an exhibition, 18 visionary discussions, and the signing of 15 cooperation agreements between Russian and foreign companies. This year’s agenda promises to be equally informative and will include the topic of new materials and chemistry covered at FTF 2025. The developments of scientific and industrial teams from across Russia featured at the Young Scientists Congress will also be on the radar.
“The high level of representation and overall makeup of the participants at SPIEF will allow us to continue our discussion of trends and challenges in the high-tech sector and examine the interim results of government and business measures for projects recognized as priorities at past forums. By ‘us’ I mean the community of innovative entrepreneurs, scientists, business, technology, and innovation project heads, investors, and government agencies responsible for scientific and technological development,” Head of the Roscongress Foundation’s Department for Relations with the Innovation Sector Dmitry Sryvkov said.
According to Sryvkov, the Roscongress Foundation has always believed it was important to promote technology and innovation, create the necessary conditions for serving and financing the high-tech business, create a competitive talent pool, and contribute to international cooperation, topics with a permanent place on the Foundation agenda, indeed, a high technology track is included in the programme of every offsite and international event.
The Roscongress Foundation signed a partnership agreement with the organizing committee of the Trends International Technology Forum and Exhibition in early February to take the Innovation Space national. The Trends Forum will bring together leading Russian and foreign experts on IT, artificial intelligence, mining, digital financial assets, blockchain, gaming, and the creative industries in Moscow in May, and the Roscongress Foundation will be one of the organizers of the business programme for the event.
