Roscongress Signs Several International Agreements at SPIEF

A great number of international cooperation agreements were signed on the first day of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. Roscongress Foundation Chairman of the Board and CEO Alexander Stuglev signed agreements with President of the Board of Directors of the Russia–Guatemala Chamber of Commerce Juan Pablo Maldonado Ayala, Russia–Portugal Business Council President Bruno Cota, Russia–ASEAN Business Council Chairman of the Board Ivan Polyakov, Eurasian Peoples’ Assembly Secretary General Andrey Belyaninov, and Annual Investment Meeting (United Arab Emirates) Director General Walid Farghal.

The agreements stipulate that the parties will use existing communication platforms in a mutually beneficial way and create new ones and make all efforts to contribute to building dialogues between representatives of their countries in investment, financial, and export-import activities as well as in tourism and culture. They also provide for mutual support in media promotion.

“Roscongress Foundation pays special attention to building constructive international relations. Working together with partner organizations that represent the interests of other countries and state associations, we will be able to act as efficiently as possible. The fact that these agreements were concluded here at the SPIEF – a major global business event – is a very important and good signal for everyone who is interested in mutually beneficial cooperation at the global level”, Stuglev said.
