ROSCONGRESS SPIEF RACE to Open SPIEF 2019

On 6 June 2019, the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will begin with the ROSCONGRESS SPIEF RACE. The race is organized by the Roscongress Foundation and World Class, Russia’s largest gym chain.

The 5 km route starts in St. Isaac’s Square and runs through the historic centre of St. Petersburg. Forum participants, accredited journalists and World Class club members are invited to take part in the race.

Men’s and women’s competitions are held in three nominations: SPIEF 2019 participants, SPIEF 2019 accredited journalists and World Class membership holders.

A starting point will be organized, where participants can register from 5:50. The race starts at 07:00. The competition will be followed by an awards ceremony, where the winners will receive special prizes from the organizers.

Register in your personal web office on the SPIEF 2019 website or visit WORLDCLASS.RU/SPIEF.

A unique opportunity to see the greatest landmarks of St. Petersburg in an exclusive setting, the morning race will serve as an informal context for expanding business communication and will provide an impetus for cooperation at the Forum.

The first SPIEF RACE was held in 2016. About 300 people participated that year, including Presidential Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov, CEO of Sberbank Herman Gref, Director of the Information and Press Department for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Maria Zakharova and famous TV-presenter Tina Kandelaki.

The winner in the Forum participants nomination was General Director of Onexim Group Dmitry Razumov, with an impressive result of 17 minutes and 42 seconds.
