The Russian–Swiss dialogue to be continued at the Russia House in Davos
The 2nd Russian-Swiss Workshop organized by Association Conoscere Eurasia was held on 22 November 2017 in Lugano (Switzerland) under the auspices of the Roscongress Foundation and the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF).
Representatives of business, political and scientific circles of Russia, Switzerland and Italy took part in the event. The participants discussed international cooperation, politics, economics and, in particular, collaboration on investment and finance, environmental protection and natural resources.
Russian Ambassador in Switzerland Sergei Garmonin spoke about Russian–Swiss bilateral relations, describing them as stable and promising: “Russia is ready to cooperate with every single country interested in doing so, in both the West and the East. This applies to cooperation in the areas of the economy, trade, investments, banking and any other sphere. We are open for cooperation with everybody who is ready to work in good faith, respect our values and traditions, balance mutual interests, negotiate and seek compromises.”
To conclude his speech, the Russian Ambassador invited the participants in the 2nd Russian–Swiss Workshop to visit the Russia House in Davos (22–26 November 2018).
The Roscongress Foundation will open the Russia House for the 48th Session of the World Economic Forum. “The Russia House will be the official Russian residence and a platform for promoting Russian initiatives among representatives of international business and official circles”, the Russian Ambassador stated.
President of Association Conoscere Eurasia Antonio Fallico also draw the participants’ attention to the Roscongress Foundation project in Davos, Switzerland, and assured all those present that the Russia House would be a perfect platform for continuing the Russian-Swiss dialogue and strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
