SPIEF, the Point Junior programme, and the future generation

The St. Petersburg International Economic Forum will once again welcome schoolchildren aged 14–17 to the Point Junior programme, which helps shape tomorrow’s leaders by providing unique opportunities for interaction with business, science, and the government.

“We’re laying the groundwork for the future right now: the sooner young people are exposed to knowledge, technology, and the business environment, the better equipped they will be to make their dreams a reality. Point Junior at SPIEF 2025 is more than just an educational programme, it is a real step towards the formation of a new generation of leaders,” Adviser to the Russian President and Executive Secretary of the SPIEF Organizing Committee Anton Kobyakov said.

Point Junior has established itself as one of the most important youth events of the country’s largest business platforms. The programme gives schoolchildren the opportunity to meet leading experts and present their ideas to major companies and state institutions.

In March 2025, a new group of youth will be selected to take part in the project, with organizers expecting this year’s participant numbers to increase significantly together with the number of outstanding ideas that will benefit the nation and the world.

The Point Junior programme at SPIEF 2025 is a step into the future and a real chance for schoolchildren to effect global change and shape the economy and technology of tomorrow.
